I’ve been working on this since March of 2013, so it’s been a long time coming! You can see more about it by browsing the posts here.

This is an animated music video for the Alternian ancestors—characters in the webcomic Homestuck whose epic story is only ever relayed via exposition. This gave me plenty of leeway for creativity, but I did my best to stay as true to what we’re told as possible and I hope you enjoy it!

these army ants tend to move in groups of 4, with the line leader leading the expeditions. They have terrible eyesight, so rely on the sound of the Line Leader's bell staff, and the the pheromone map made by the previous expedition to know where they're heading.

I’m still workin’ on the human designs of everyone in my style, got everyone but Elma, Fafnir, and Takiya finished, but I had these done so I figured I’d go ahead and throw them up here. uwu My versions of the dragon forms of our otherwordly friends! Tohru, Elma, and Kanna were by far the easiest since we actually get to see them in show, but I still made changes here and there for them to fit my own personal headcanon. uwu I also added in Kobayashi to serve as a representative of a human next to these giants. c:

I made this leaves brush today for a pic I’m working in.

First table of settings is on pen, second one is on brush.

The pen one is great to put the base shape or a branch or something, while the second one comes handy for the special thing brush makes: blending colors. Make some more leaves with it and look the magic happening before your eyes. The brush also is useful for an acrylic-like technique.

The 2 flower-things you see above came out in about 15 seconds each one.
