— The crates he’s carrying look impossibly heavy. Yet, he’s carrying three of them.
— As he passes her, he looks like he can carry a truck if he wanted.
Heather liked to think herself a very observant person, so it was not surprising when she passed this man that she noticed three quite bulky looking crates. So obviously, she did a double take and turned to take a longer look.
"Hey there, sir! Those boxes look mighty heavy. Won't you hurt yourself?"
Yawns loudly.
”What’s so special about them? How do they even relieve stress?” He took one into his fingers, fumbling it around as if that would reveal the secrets of it.
But the comment on his hair, he did appreciate. Grinned all wide and brushed his digits under his bangs. “Thanks! Your’s is lovely, too!”
Truth be told, she didn't know either! She just picked up the pieces of information and glued them together. But not wanting to be looked down as a child, she placed her hands on her hips, and looked solemn.
"Science."
She said in a wise tone, though there was nothing wise about it. She nodded her head wisely, as if she was teaching something serious. At the compliment, Heather brightened with a wide grin.
"Ooh, thank you! Is your hair naturally like that, or did you 'dye' it? Mine's really boring, though. I want it to be blue! Or purple!"
"I agree, I love the beach! Though I much prefer flower gardens; the sand can get in your bathing suit and it’s very uncomfortable…"
"Very true! Flower gardens are very lovely as well. But I've grown up with flower gardens surrounding me all the time, so something different is quite exciting!!"
”I think these things are called metaphors? The teens on this planet are crazy about them.”
He was looking at the finished cigs in an ash tray.
"No, I do believe they are called cigarettes, sir! People above 18 usually take them to relieve stress. Or something along the lines!"
And she looked at the ash tray with him, nose wrinkling at the smoky scent. Guess who was way behind the world's newest updates?

It would have been quite embarrassing now that he realized his proclamation only further pointed out how little he knew about this world. But she seemed to know more than him in the very least. Perhaps he should have probed her for more information at that before he went to go grant a wish. It would have done his client no favors to have to teach him from the beginning after all. “You should try some! Please take a part of mine, I am getting quite full.” Actually he could eat for days but maybe that was just because he had no sense of being full or hungry either. “Ice cream?" He had heard of that. It was supposed to be quite a delectable confection. People seemed to be quite fond of it actually, he thought. Perhaps she knew where to acquire this so called ‘ice cream’. Setting down his slice, he turned to face the other unaware of the splotch of tomato sauce that had gathered in the corner of his mouth. "Have you eaten this ice cream? Please tell me where to procure this iciest of creams.”
"Ah? Oh no, I couldn't! It's your lunch after all, is it not?"
As appetizing as it looked {and smelled divine as well, oh my--} she would always put others before her needs. And the boy really seemed to enjoy it as well, so who was she to take that happiness away? This didn't stop a silly grin to spread across Heather's lips, though. It felt nice, that somebody would do such a kind deed.
The blonde blinked, eyes widening at the question. What a strange boy! Never eating ice cream? She wondered why his guardians had never offered this treat to the young boy, since it was fun to see people smile.
"Yes, I have! It is simply marvellous. Such as this pizza has a variety of 'toppings' of cheese and meat or anything else, ice cream has many flavours, suited to any one's tongue! Most are sweet, but there are others as well that are sour, but I don't think those are called ice cream, but rather 'yoghurt.' How strange!"
Oh dear, she has run her mouth quite a bit. She hoped she didn't scare of the boy!
"And yes, I do happen to know where one can find such a treat. It's no rare thing, and many do enjoy feasting on it! I do have a question, though. Are you lactose intolerant? If you are, I am afraid this will do no good to your health!"

No good if they get in your eyes, though. It burned and the blonde had rolled on the ground in pain before washing it with clean water. Nevertheless, it made Heather warm with glee.
