Following on from my last post about the forthcoming Century: 100 Years of Type In Design exhibition, here’s a sneak peek from Pentagram of Abbott Miller’s exhibition logo.

The final “C” will cycle through hundreds of Monotype typefaces and is split into segments and animated to move like the minute hand on a clock. Although it’s quite reminiscent of a spider’s web, I like the concept.

The goal was to create an image that was expressive of the wine, the maker and the process. In order to evoke a sense of the story to the consumer. The image itself was created through the use of close up photography taken at the vineyard and the winery.
