a boyfriend :
i manifested a loving and healthy relationship with my current boyfriend, he was my friend at the time and i really liked him and we had been flirting on and off for the past few months, so i manifested that he would confess to me and he did, we've been in a great relationship ever since.
being popular + a lot of friends :
i've never been popular but i've always known a lot of people. but after void people started coming up to me and asking to hang out, inviting me to parties, going to the movies, and even more.
a job :
i got a job 2 days after going into void just like i desired, i don't wanna share too many details but it pays really well and everyone who works there is really nice including my boss / higher ups
clothes :
i made a pinterest board with a bunch of clothes that i liked and fit my aesthetic, and when i finished void there were all in my closet ; even the ones i forgot about.
money :
i manifested finding money, and people giving me money.. to this day i still frequently find money on the ground outside and my friends sometimes just give me money to treat myself.
weight loss :
i lost around 30 pounds? i have gained it all back though, i didn't work out or do any diets so this was solely void.. no one noticed the change and all remembered me being 30 pounds lighter for my entire life.
changing my name :
i mentioned this in my introduction post but i changed my legal name to aphrodite! i've always really liked this name and it used to be my nickname, but while i was in void i decided to change my name. everyone in my life remembers my name being aphrodite and my legal documents changed as well as more stuff from the past.
all teachers like me :
alot of my teachers at the time hated me because i never turned in assignments on time and i was always late to important classes / tests. after void those teachers were super nice and caring to me, all my teachers now love me and they all say that i'm the "faculties favorite student"
got rid of my allergies :
i used to be allergic to milk, cheese, mangos, wheatgrass, and more.. i'm not allergic to that stuff anymore and i can eat it all without any side effects. i haven't been to the doctor in a while so i'm not sure if my documents still state my allergy to those foods.
đ€ :
and that's everything, i'm trying to post more stuff about me so people don't have to go in my asks if they have a question in the future. i got into void when i didn't really have a good understanding of how powerful it was, so i didn't manifest that many things.. i will probably share my story / experience with void when i'm a little bit more comfortable on this account, if you have any questions feel free to ask and with all that said thank you for reading..
â love, aphrodite.

Tips For Studying When You're Burned Out:
(ideally, you shouldn't even be studying if you're burned out but we live in a shitty world and sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do)
don't look at your assignments as something you have to do. that leads to frustration and constant anxiety over procrastination. instead, think of them as something you want to do!! do them well for the sake of doing them well, not because you have a deadline in two hours.
start with the least emotionally taxing stuff first, like readings or some math warm-ups to get you into the groove. it'll help you ease into the right mindset so you can work properly.
use lifeat.io if you're on a computer!! they have amazing virtual study spaces which have helped me focus whenever i'm in a less-than-ideal situation with a lot of noise and distraction.
listen to calm music if you're the type that needs headphones in to do anything. a good example would be lofi hip-hop or some uplifting classical music. angsty indie is fine, but crying in the middle of your economics essay probably isn't the best use of your time.
if you've been working on something for a few hours and don't understand the topic, take a break and do something else (don't scroll through social media, you'll end up losing an hour or so procrastinating). recharge with a warm drink and let your brain reset. you're more tired than you know.
khan academy and photomath are your best friends. use any and ALL online resources you have, it'll save you a lot of energy!!
if you absolutely can't cope up/know you can't prevent the inevitable, please, please email your prof beforehand!! state clearly the reason why you're not able to complete the work they assigned and what you're going to do to make it up. most of the time they'll be understanding and extend your deadline.
but if your prof is that 5% which doesn't care about your mental health and/or thinks you're slacking off, you probably should have a conversation with your mentor and re-evaluate whether being in that class is the right thing for you.
stay safe and take care of yourself lovelies, you'll make it through this!! <3
learning is enjoyable when youâre doing it right. i think we all forget that too often !
HOW TO HAVE A SUCCESSFUL SCHOOL YEAR (tips from a college graduate)
Use a planner
Use a calendar and write all your tasks, tests and deadlines. That way you have an overview and youâll be able to focus on your deadlines for this week.
Take a look at your subjects before class
Every course has a different study method. If you have language courses, you need to memorize a lot of new words and make a lot of grammar exercises. If you have math courses, you need to make a lot of exercises. Know which study method you use for every course.
Sit in front of the class
Youâll be surrounded by people that take their classes seriously and youâll be able to pay more attention and take notes, which means youâll pass your exam. The people in the back are mostly talking during class and you would be distracted from them.
Take notes and reread them
You donât have to make a summary of every course. All you need to do is go to class, take notes and read them every time before class. What you see in your class is what youâll see on your exam. That way, you study smarter not harder.
Active learning is better than passive learning
The biggest mistake Iâve made is reading, highlighting and making a summary and calling it âstudyingâ. All you need to do is read your notes, understand the material, make exercises and revise. Itâs called active studying.
Ask questions to your professors
Donât be shy to ask questions. Your professors will be happy to help you and they will see that youâre a student that takes it seriously. Also, donât hesitate to ask questions to your fellow students. They would like to help you.
Study location and study with me videos
Find a place where you can study well. It could be in your room at your desk, in a library or on campus. Avoid studying on your bed because it will make you sleepy. Also, watching study with me videos will help you to avoid distractions.
Donât be too hard on yourself
The point of studying is to gain knowledge, not to stress yourself out. Donât forget to take breaks, get enough sleep and have a lot of fun! Itâs all about balance. Enjoy the process. School will be over before you know it!
Back to School Resource Masterpost
Hi everyone! It's that time of year again, back-to-school and all the excitement of learning new things, along with the stress and anxiety that inevitably occurs. I've been on Tumblr for longer than I'd like to admit, and have compiled a long list of resources below!
Please note that I did my absolute best to find the original links to all of these posts, but many of them are 4+ years old and the users have changed blog names/deleted. If any of the links donât work, or there is a link to an original post which I am missing, please let me know! Many of the master posts have dead links so if you find any updated resources please feel free to add on :)

reading romance novels. reading academic writing. reading essays. reading articles. reading quotes and little notes i left for myself. reading, reading, reading.
things you don't need to feel to be worthy of life:
love
attraction
empathy
sympathy
compassion
things you do need to be worthy of life:
you. that's all. just yourself, as you are.
Read today ! Just for a little bit âaround 15 minutes ! But i like that iâm growing and making better habits for myself that i had set out to build !!!
Iâve been actively drinking water since i got sick (from overexertion whoopsy) and since i started my period ! The habit is really useful and I feel so proud of myself !
gentle reminder: please make sure youâre regularly cleaning your water bottles, thermos, and kettles with antibacterial soap and warm water so you donât get ill. this includes the inside of the container itself, the straw, lid, the outside and bottom of the container, as well as any crevices. rinse well. stay safe and hydrated, babes. đȘŽđ§

Today I spent hours sketching but couldnât get myself to paint. After 4 PM I made up my mind and tackled an old painting I had abandoned and it came out really well: Iâm so happy with it! From sketching, genshin-playing, podcast-listening, painting, checking up on one of my disciples, to suffering from sound pollution, and posting a reel of my painting - a 7/10 roller coaster of emotions day that ended on a good note, Alhamdulillah âšđ
9/10 and 10/10
These past few days have been tiring but !!! I enjoy classes and taking notes much more now and I feel so proud of myself in general ! Today I had a consult with a teacher , my first of the year and the first iâve ever organised myself ! Iâve done all my hw and am now midway through a lit essay qn practice i set up for myself :D perhaps if i find it of good-enough standard i may ask my teacher for feedback. If not, Iâll keep practising first !
