After watching a few American movies made in the 60s about the 1947-49 Israel-Palestine War like Exodus, Cast a Great Shadow and Judith I've come to an observation.
American Support for Israel back in the day was not founded only in Dispensationalist Eschatology and general post-Holocaust Sympathy.
Americans were looking at what was going on in Israel and seeing it as a repeat of our own origin story of seeking independence from the British.
Sometimes it's explicitly mentioned in the dialogue, but sometimes it's more subtle visual imagery like how the visuals of them throwing stuff off the boat into the water evokes imagery of the Boston Tea Party.

What allegations have I made? I have never said anything that wasn't true. I have been called a bitch derogatorily because I am a woman, I've been told to kms, they have tried to doxx me, talked about me being beheaded, used ableist language towards me, said I've had mental illness in a derogatory way, hated on me for saying things about a religion I am a part of even though I had to convert to non mormon because I found out they hate black people(damn), and have had ignorant thoughts and beliefs ie not knowing what the kkk or aave is and also not being responsible for their slur usage like sleepystormchaser saying the M word or calling me slow... this seems to be a common occurrence with this person. Also, let it be clear rob right here has brought up my race out of nowhere. What that gotta do with anything right now? feels weird to me... When a white person was trying to act like they could tell ME about racism and prejudice, I brought up my race because I frankly don't need white people telling me about this shit. If I was white I would still be calling you all the mental ku klux klan members. At this point you all have brought up my race more than I have, and have always said me being black is not why I call you people bigots. You have all created this fake narrative about me in your heads so that you can justify sending me such evil things, but it seems like you are all the true villains...
