I’m not dead this is just my last week at my job and rehearsals so I’m job hunting, putting together stuff for cash inflow while unemployed and getting things straightened up.

"For a wolf, you have wandered very far," Montu pointed out, not sure how to take the stranger's presence.  "What made you wander so far?"

"I fear I have a bad habit of getting turned around in the desert," the goddess replied as she turned to fall into step with the War God, he was a protector and guardian. She’d always enjoyed his company, the elder god put her at ease. "Thank you, Montu."

He lead her out of the desert and into his hidden oasis where large home lay nestled in the shade of palms.  After sending for some refreshments, Montu turned his attentions to the younger good.

"So, Little Bloom, how have you been?  It has been quite a while since you have graced me with your presence."

She smiled and sat down.  ”Aww as do we, three war deities..its not bad, since two of them are my own children.”  She chuckled softly. “So how have you been Montu?’

Montu nodded, still wearing a polite smile as she spoke.

"I am sure you managed to keep peace within the household then," he started, "you are a good mother."  As he finished, the refreshments were served between the pair.  He looked up at her question of how he was and gave a shrug.  "It is very strange to live a simple life, without having pharaohs calling upon my aid during war.  But it gives me time to focus on myself and my family."

"Not too terribly bored.  Sometimes when I feel like it, I go and deal with some of those desert terrorists that will kidnap civilians.  Other times, I do try to keep up with my reading and modern news.  And of yourself? You were a bit more restless than I at times."
