Yall good? Its been a while since this blog has posted, so i just wanted to check up on you guys!

things have been very busy with work (i work in a grocery store so things are VERY busy with the holidays coming up) and my bf honestly doesn’t use tumblr a lot anymore so this blog has been inactive. sorry about this! i’m trying to get my life together (get a therapist, make money and put some into savings, etc) so it hasn’t been a top priority :(

how can a nb be straight, lesbian, gay, whatever? when you are nb, you are neither male nor female or both at once, which means you can not determine your sexual orientation or you are both straight and gay at the same time. which gender do they use to determine their sexual orientation? in that sense, what does nb lesbian mean? is that a born man now being a woman who is into women? or a born woman seeing herself as man but being into women?

nonbinary doesn't mean "not a man or woman", it's the state of being nonbinary. it can be a complex experience for anyone who's nonbinary. you can be nonbinary and still relate to the experiences of men or women because of how society still continues to divide us into categories. a nb lesbian is a lesbian who is nonbinary. these two things aren't exclusive. nonbinary isn't a third gender or anything, there's no gender trinary, it just means you have a gender that lies outside of the traditional definition of man or woman. I also don't like how the end of this ask is worded because it honestly starts to delve into genuinely transphobic interpretations of trans women and nonbinary lesbians.
