Another snarl escapes from him, like a wounded dog trying to heal his own wounds helplessly. This lady’s irritating him, too. If you’re not going to help then just leave, staring makes it even worse and even embarrassing. Just as he prepares to whirl around, about to snap at her to go in an opposite direction, she asks him such an annoying, easy-to-answer question.
"They’re not magic! It’s physics! Phy-sics! All I need is a screwdriver and I’ll fix that. What part of it looks like unexplainable bullshit?”
Since he’s still on the ground, trying to climb to his feet, his eyes drift towards her legs and feet, covered in coiling snakes. Add’s face scrunches in disgust. Those can’t be real.
“That’s illusion magic, isn’t it? To account for your weird fashion choices.”
Physics? Not magic? “Whatever it may be, if it is not miracles or faith, then it is out of my range of knowledge.” Though it would perhaps be of interest of someone she knew. Not that the guy... well... dragon was still in his right mind. The last time she remembered, he was going hollow... or a more common phrase for people that aren’t familiar with the Undead curse would be losing his mind. Maybe he'd know what a screwdriver is? Gwyndolin certainly doesn’t. “I know not of someone who would be able assist you. Not here.”
Then the boy had to comment on her appearance out of all things. Not that there’s much of anything else to comment on.
“My lower half? Illusion Magic?” Gwyndolin felt her eye twitch. She knew she looked filthy, but why would she ever make herself look less presentable as it is. “Treat it as much if you must. You surely sound like you are underestimating magic, but each their own design.”
Gwyndolin was so close to puffing. She would not let herself be mocked by this young boy by merely his words!
“The power of sorceries would serve a much greater purpose than be casted on mineself. Mine father would not allow such things.”

Just when Zed thought this place seriously couldn’t get any lamer, something caught his eye. Not literally, but hell, it wouldn’t have been the first time if it did. Did that freak have fucking snakes for legs? Holy shit! That was some fuckin’ Mariska level trippy shit! She wasn’t here, so he definitely wasn’t tripping but… damn. Was this for real? How the hell did this snake chick even get around?
“You got some fuckin’ freak on you. Might wanna wipe that the fuck off before it spreads. That shit isn’t contagious is it? I’m allergic to slutty snakes,” could snakes even be slutty? Fuck it, those ones probably were. All attached to that chick’s legs or whatever. Maybe they were actually eating her as he spoke and not actually legs and she was just too almost-dead to be in pain-. That’d be so fucked up! And cool! “Does that fuckin’ hurt? Gimme one, cooze. I wanna try!”
It was challenging enough to try to blend in with her surround without the use of any magic. If there was just one thing she wish she could retain... it really wouldn’t have been the bow and arrow.
Then she heard it... a guy who seemed to be freaking about her snake legs out of all things!
“Brute.” The first thing she managed to remark about the source of the voice. This ... This was exactly why her illusions could’ve helped her hide and not having to interact with... Or even better, she could’ve just casted some sorceries at him to teach him a lesson. She had no way of defending herself in this case. “I have got no freak on me as you described.”
Then she took in the appearance of the guy which only added icing on top of the cake. “Hurt? I would wonder if it would hurt for you not appear like you have come out of a pile of waste.”
“It would think not. For the pile of waste is right on your face.”

A frustrated growl escapes Add’s throat when he goes tumbling into the ground for the millionth time. He knew it was the lack of Dynamos keeping him balanced that was making even walking so goddamn frustrating.
“Stupid fricking-” The swear is incomplete, but his hands are spread around him again, trying to push himself off the floor. Unsurprisingly, he is on the ground again. He opens his mouth to swear, but then there’s a hand in his vision, interrupting his thoughts. He naturally follows the length of her arm to look at the woman’s masked face and strange figure–
“I’m fine! I don’t need your ‘assistance’!”
There he goes, wobbling on to his feet, stabilizing himself for what, three seconds?
Gwyndolin glanced at the boy. The way he dressed, the way those things float around him. It was definitely foreign. Interesting, she thought. As the boy snapped at her, she withdrew her hand, a bit irritated at the boy's behaviour.
“Is this how you travel, young one? Stumbling, and falling over.”
Looking at the boy, Gwyndolin ever wondered if she had ever been this bratty herself... though when she tried to remember all that came to her mind were images of her father.
“If this is your design, then I shall not interrupt. Though I must wonder... Might it be lack of sorcery power that is you causing such difficulty?” Those floating things had to be related to magic in some way.... right?
Life after Lordran
He knew not what drew him to this place, in truth. His feet had simply led him here in his efforts to gain some idea of his surroundings and the land in which he now found himself. Perhaps it was the time he had spent protecting the chapel in Anor Londo that brought him here, as some form of cruel joke reminding him of his failure to both his allies and his duty.
He was in the midst of inspecting the statue at the forefront of the cathedral when he heard his title called out. The voice he heard was one he’d not heard for a very long time…at least, not in that form. It had been even longer since he had beheld her true form as well. The illusion he had protected, the voice it spoke to him with, were in truth controlled by the owner of this voice. The child of his Lord. Lady Gwyndolin. It was by her order that he guarded the chapel, and by her order that he had fought. In essence, his death was a result of her order…but that was the lot of a knight. Turning to the source of the voice, Ornstein immediately took a knee and bowed his head in reverence. Though it was not to her that he had sworn loyalty, his Lord had left Anor Londo to her and so he was hers to command.
But if she was here, then…
“Lady Gwyndolin…I beg your forgiveness. I failed in my duty, and now we have both…”
There was this strange feeling that Gwyndolin was having, with the knight bowing in front of her. It was embarrassing and a bit shameful, appearing with her current form. Yet it felt to some extent... flattering. It made her truly feel like a deity... one who didn't have to be hidden behind a statue and whose followers only communicated with her with a gate in between. Though she'd still rather hide behind some illusion, but her magic powers were none.
Perhaps being here was in fact better than hollowing. She briefly thought of her father, the Lord, and what may have come to him. Gwyndolin then focused on the knight in front of her. She did not want to bind him to his duty even after death.
"Be proud. Failed, you have not. You have died with honor."
"You may have fallen in battle, but you have served Sister Gwynevere well... You have served mineself well. Stand up, O, Dragonslayer." She commanded. "For this is not Lordran, you shall be free."

This was neither hell nor heaven but just another life. It made her wonder if there were parts of Lordran that ended up this way as well. Somewhat modern, yet abandoned and well... unpleasant. Since finally she was out of Lordran as well, free of her duties, she could stop brooding. She has done enough of that the rest of her living days. Maybe.
Attempting to familiarize herself with surrounding that looked unfitting for the deity to live in, she felt as though she deserved to be here. For her to be degraded to some sort of commoner was fitting in a way. Almost the perfect punishment for how much shame she felt she brought unto her family. In her tracks along the empty streets, she noticed a boy in about his teen years struggling to keep himself balanced... Was the boy even okay? Should it even be any of Gwyndolin’s concern?
With that she scooted over to the boy dragging herself with her snake legs. She offered her gloved hand to him out of pity. “... Do you require some assistance?”
Her voice didn’t show any sort of sympathy. It sounded more like someone reading off a script.
Life after Lordran

Given the situation, slain by a mere Undead, Gwyndolin really couldn’t have felt more shame. It was lonely enough to have to by herself all the time. Yet, her eyes fixated upon a sight so familiar it was so out of place amongst its surrounding, almost as if it was an illusion by itself. Yet he seems to blend in so well with the Gethsemane Cathedral that lay behind him. But by whom would this illusion be? As if death needed any sort of explanation.
“Knight of Father Gwyn.” She called. How could she not recognize him. Of course she’d remember every single person that her father had recognized and admitted. He has even been granted something special from the Lord himself, something that Gwyndolin has yearned for for so long. That feeling of envy was there, but for some reason it was accompanied by relief. Nevertheless, she wasn’t going to let it show. “Dragonslayer.”
She wondered if he would even recognize her. After all, she has always been hiding herself in the shadows all this time.
