Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City â„ 2008
male directors will make torture porn of girls and women for shock value and call it "showing the harsh realities of sex work". they'll show women getting forced into sex work, abused, assaulted, and trafficked over & over again with no further commentary and i am supposed to believe that it is necessary for the narrative, if not empowering. right right
Imagine the level of whimsy I could reach if I just had $5M in my bank account rn
my psycho vice captain cant be this cute
I saw this reference and thought it would suit Lohen perfectly.
i love it and hate it when a character in a story is so obviously created to be cool and awesome and then i do think they're cool and awesome. like fuck, yeah, ok, they're fucking epic. swag as hell. you got me you coolbaited me ok? i'm coolbaited.

LOHEN â standardized test
I heard he used to be an adventurer. They say he got bored with commissions, so he snuck his way into the Knights of Favonius. Maybe it's not the fighting he likes per se, more just... having fun?
cool detail: lohen catches his knife by the blade when he's talking to varka, but after varka recognizes the poison and offers to join him, he catches it by the handle! a great way to show that his unhinged personality changes from a danger to himself and others (knife pointing inward), into a weapon for the knights to use (knife blade at their service)
"I heard someone say no matter what the mission is, he always charges headlong into the fray... He's never scared of getting hurt... Maybe he even enjoys it!"
I need to draw my ocs
