          &     in  that  cold  spot  of  her  heart  ,   she  sits  with  her  knees  aching   &   to  the  floor  ,   frozen  to  the  ground   like  the  sad  child  begging  for  a  blanket  .     a  morsel  of  bedding  ,   a  hand  wrapped  around  theirs  .     this  love  in  her  feels  like  a  never - ending  bruise  that  wraps  her  like  her  skin  ,   that  becomes  the  always  there  comfort  of  blood  from  warmth  .          “   i’m  sorry  .   ”

you know, before i completely get off of my computer, i’m gonna do like a brief info dump for my d.b/d oc girlie!! sister eliana joan, usually referred to as ej after being yanno snatched by the entity. read under the cut. this is a v uglie post but i will make a better post later!

so, basically, her mom died bc giving birth to eliana was Rough. but she died like, slowly because she was trying to fight it. but she died, and her father basically is just a very angry person and blames eliana. so then he basically drops her off at a monastery in italy when she’s 8 because “she killed my wife and she’s probably a demon child because she keeps telling me about these dumb visions, etc” (WHICH a demon HAS been following her like her whole life so yolo). yanno, my kid’s a monster so i don’t want her spiel. so they take her in and raise her and she chooses to become a nun so they teach her etc, she becomes a nun at 18 (her name goes from eliana sexton to sister eliana joan because joan of arc and they chose her new name!! i’ll write about her monastery some day dw). then, some guy sent from the roman catholic church comes there to grab her because yanno maybe her visions will help them figure out what’s going on at another monastery in romania where there’s weird stuff happening etc. they go there, the demon that’s been following her was behind it etc etc. the demon is about to yoink her body or is attempting to when the entity swipes them. ej thinks she’s free of the demon, but basically she realizes that the demon was yoinked there too and has to spend an eternity trying to evade the demon PLUS a bunch of other scary stuff. but at least she’s here with other people!!

cannot stress ENOUGH that she is very devout to her faith, and her muse is a study on devout, unshakable faith meeting persistent & inevitable & obvious hopelessness meeting, sitting at the same dinner table. (she does have other normal verses but!!! ye
