Hi everyone. My parent is towards the end of cancer treatments but there’s still testing that needs to be done to ensure that the previous treatments worked and they got all of the cancer during surgery. We are still accepting aid for medications, food, transportation, medical bills, and the cost of hospitalization due to chemotherapy side effects. We appreciate those who have donated.

We’ve received $100 in donations so far. Every donation is used for important daily things and is appreciated. Thank you

At this point when it comes to certain issues on social media, I kinda have to disregard the opinions of people who have clearly led sheltered lives and/or are too young. Lmao like I saw this 19 year old on twitter call a lady a “bourgeoisie capitalist pig” and the woman is like “I literally earn 40K a year” and then they sent her guillotine memes with “this is what we do to the rich”. Like, not to be ageist or whatever but sometimes you really just have to leave the nest and live life a little more before you start running your mouth.
For the record, $40k a year is not considered a livable income for a family of four, and just barely a livable income for a family of three in Canada. I don’t care if this sounds like “get off my lawn” because you are, in fact, not allowed on my lawn if you’re going to threaten to behead people for straddling the poverty line.
LEARNING LOVE
If our parents didn’t love and understand each other, how are we to know what love looks like? There aren’t courses or classes in love. If the grown-ups know how to take care of each other, then the children who grow up in this environment will naturally know how to love, understand, and bring happiness to others. The most precious inheritance that parents can give their children is their own happiness. Our parents may be able to leave us money, houses, and land, but they may not be happy people. If we have happy parents, we have received the richest inheritance of all.

X saids it all. Kids learn to love by observing their own parents, like it or not, it's the truth. If they can't see love by watching their own parents, then what?
no words to describe the love I feel for you.

“It’s not just about cooking a meal and having the meal for lunch or dinner, but it’s about connection with our ancestors and how they have been so resilient and strong,” said Jennifer Wheeler.
Jennifer Wheeler, a Navajo language teacher, posted a series of videos on her Facebook page showing her making traditional foods like blue corn much and kneel down bread. Her videos have been shared across the platform tens of thousands of times.
“I didn’t even imagine the response that I’m getting now,” she said.
Wheeler said she hopes the videos, which are recorded solely in Navajo, will help her people learn the complicated language.
“When you act and speak and do all at the same time, the listener will start recognizing that and understanding the action to the verb,” Wheeler said,
Wheeler said she has enough food videos planned to take her through the next couple of months. All of her videos are posted to her Facebook page, but she said she has plans to start a YouTube channel soon.
