Realized I never poster the rest of the Strawberry Shortcake redesigns I did on here.
So let's jump into that, cus better late the never:
Artist Notes on Apple Dumplin:
Apple Dumplin is Strawberries Younger sister in this verson.
Her look is mainly inspired by the "grown up" (a teen instead of a baby) look of Apple Dumplin' from the 2007 era of the classic show + some bits from the 2009 show.
Had to give her the hair ties like the 2007 version of her.
chose to make her hair a more blonde color as I think it looks nicer and helps make her look slimier to BOTH of her siblings.
Artist Notes on Pineapple Cobbler:
Brought over Pineapple Cobbler from the 2024 show cus I thought it would be fun keep him as Strawberry's older brother.
Everyone has some kind of head / hair acessory so he gets a cap with a pineapple clip on it.
His design is not that different from his original look out side of some small changes.
Artist Notes on Plum Puddin:
Gave her, her glasses back since I think it helps her stand out more cus not meany character in Strawberry Shortcake have glasses
I mixed together the classic nerdy Plum Puddin + the more athletic one from the 2009 show just to help make her a more unique character.
Keep her as a girl but made her MtF trans cus I like that head cannon
Artist Notes on Raspberry Tart:
This design of Raspberry is heavily based on her 2003 appearance, and since I think the Sporty verson of Raspberry is a more intresing design.
deiced to make her hair currly again as it helps her stand out a bit more.
IDK what else to say on this...
Artist Notes on Sour Grapes:
Style is meant to be a more closely like Scene fashion.
Change her hair so that the front was dye green, she was going to have full on Raccoon Tails pattern but it look to busy in my option
He design is mostly green based as she is based on green grapes in this redesign
Artist Notes on Sweet Grapes:
Style is meant to be a more simplistic (for the sake of drawing) take on Decora.
Kept the Ombre hair cus I think it fun and make her design more unique
Made her color pallet mostly purple as she is based on purple grapes in this redesign
Gave her circular glasses so that they wore more different form Plum's glasses
Note it was https://unvale.io/FaerieCat4 own redesigns of Sweet and Sour Grapes that inspired me to put them in Scene and Decora fashion respectively.
