When you start sharing every small memory of yours, you will automatically create an invincible string that connects him and the memory...
So next time when we remember that particular memory, our brain also remembers the way he reacted when listening to it.
Mary Oliver, from “Hum Hum”, A Thousand Mornings
Andrea Gibson, Birthday
march by Mary Oliver
i will never stop thinking about this poem my greek professor showed us
Rage runs through my veins like honey
Though I wish it was as sweet.
It chokes them up, so thick and viscous,
And my heart burns with deafened heat
As it races and races to pump my blood
But alas its dying bid has no avail
My arteries are clogged with sorrow
From my rage’s golden trail
And even when the fury’s dry
And I’ve washed it from my soul
My veins are lined with pressure’s cracks
The rage has took its toll
I think I’ve lived with it long enough to know just what to make of it,
But the sorrow comes from deep in my heart when I realize I’ll never escape from it.
