Fandom: aged up Max///vid and Dan///vid are good LGBTQ+ representation! Let people ship it!

Me: Max///vid and Dan///vid aren’t good LGBTQ+ representations in media because of the oppression it further normalises. Max///vid is rather triggering to many trauma survivors and is a child with an adult. This can lead into the stigma that gay men and women, even the trans community, are pedophiles thanks to the publicity it gets. This has lead to RoosterTeeth even expressing their discomfort, and I can imagine mostly to Miles and Michael, because these characters are written FOR THEM. Dan///vid can actually be quite an abusive ship in my opinion. And although it is two adults, the personality and the warning signs from Daniel are extremely high and endangering. And it defeats and negates that David wants to protect the kids. Daniel is manipulative, and a child murderer. That isn’t someone good for David and it’s clear they hate each other for very valid reasons. Though the hate to love trope is popular, this isn’t a case where it can work.

I’m just tired of fandoms in general ignoring literally every other charatcer, especially prominent female characters in order to fetishizes over two ugly white boys. Back in elementary school in one of my friends classes there was this computer with an educational mario game on it like mario chess and stuff. He would talk to you as you play but if you walked away for awhile he would say something while idling.

Once they were doing little presentations and one kid was up there dead silent like nearly shaking because they were so nervous. Not a single person talking.

All of a sudden you hear from the back marios voice yell out “Whats-a takin you so long!”. The kid starts crying and runs outta the room
