Hecate: So. Who broke it? I'm not mad, I just want to know.
Persephone: I did. I bro-
Hecate: No. No, you didn't. Hermes?
Hermes: Don't look at me. Look at Thanatos.
Thanatos: What? I didn't break it!
Hermes: That's weird, how did you even know it was broken?
Thanatos: Because it's sitting right in front of us and it's broken.
Hermes: Suspicious.
Thanatos: No, it's not!
Hades: If it matters, I mean probably not, but Minthe was the last one to use it.
Minthe: Liar! I don't drink that company crap!
Hades: Really? Then what were you doing around the coffee cart earlier?
Minthe: I use the wooden stirrers to push my cuticles back, everyone knows that, Hades!
Persephone: Okay, let's not fight. I broke it, let me pay for it.
Hecate: No! Who broke it?!
Everyone: ...
Thanatos: Hecate, the Fates have been awfully quiet.
All three, in unison: Oh, REALLY?
Everyone: *arguing*
Hecate, alone: I broke it. It burned my hand so I punched it. I predict ten minutes from now they'll all be at each other's throts with war paint on their faces and a pig head on a stick. Good. Things were getting a little too chummy around here.

Idea:
Medusa wasnāt Cursed with Snake Hair and Scales.
She Already had Snake Hair and Scales and was still the hottest lady the Gods have ever seen.
To be fair Medusa is supposedly one of the three Gorgon sisters, so it makes sense that there would be a family resemblance
Yeah thatās why I had to post this
Iāve read too many stories where itās like āsheās a Gorgonā then near the end of the story they say āshe was cursed with snake hair and featuresā
And Iām just like āā¦Wait.ā
I think the only thing she was truly cursed with were the eyes that turn people to stone
someone draw beautiful medusa with scales and snake hair before being cursed p le a s e
I already had a little idea in my head soā¦
The men yell, āsheās a monster! She should be hunted down and killedā. Theyāve said it before, theyāve tried it before. She steals women and devours them, the men yell. āShe comes in the night and takes women away when theyāre on a half-awake wander to the chamber pot or a drink of water. She steals them away to her lair and devours them whole. Why else do women not return?ā
The women whisper, āsheās a savior. She should be sought for sanctuary and love.ā They whisper it around the well whenever they see the shadows of a bruise on their friendsā bodies. Whenever someone who once was vivacious and bright is now dull and flinches from friendly touches. āGo in the night,ā they say, āwhen heās so drunk he sleeps heavily. Take only what he wonāt notice is missing. Donāt worry about clothes or food, she will provide. You will be cared for. Why would you want to return?ā
She says, āwelcome home. You will be safe here,ā with a soft smile and softer eyes. The snakes that curl around her head are more colors than youāve ever seen in your life. She tilts her head as she takes in your bundle of precious items, the bruises on your arm, your face, around your neck. A cloud passes over her face and the sun, and you see the snakes are black. The look passes, the cloud moves away, the sun strikes the snakes again and theyāre a shifting array of colors again. āCome, meet your sisters,ā she says, gesturing as she turns and you look to see dozens of women coming out of the cave, smiling and happy. The group comes forward, splitting to either side of you, leaving a path to the cave and a path behind you leading back. āWelcome, youāre safe.ā You step forward, peace settling into your heart. You will never return.
I love these stories about Medusa that go against the common myths
@monochromatic-stardust
The men at the drinking party sat around laughing at the younger man.Ā āYou mean to tell us that a woman was beating her husband? Ha! What a jokester you are.ā
āYou are probably just too embarrassed to admit you got that black eye from doing something stupid.ā
āBesides even if you were telling the truth, just be a man and fight back! Or have you no guts at all? We all know your wife is a spitfire but she is still a woman, and you are a man.ā
The young man was used to these responses from the older men of the village, to the point that his heart was turned to stone from it. His wife, whom he had been arranged to marry, was not like most of the other women he had met in his life. She was cruel and truly wicked and often drunk. She took advantage of the young manās youth and lack of experience. Even if the people thought that she was a weak woman, she knew that she was stronger than her young husband, who had less strength than a hungry dog. And of course, no one would believe that a woman could overpower a young man like that.
On this day however, the young man decided to take a chance. He approached the well where he had often seen one woman in particular talking to the women who had vanished only a day or two before then, and she was there today.
āExcuse me. I have a quick question for you.ā
The woman, who was just pulling her bucket out of the well turned to him somewhat surprised.Ā āYes?ā
āIsā¦is it trueā¦what the women whisper about the Gorgon in the woodsā¦thatā¦she helps women whose husbands beat them?ā
The woman seemed suspicious of him at first,Ā āWhere did you hear that?ā
āI justā¦ā the man looked around nervously before removing the bandages from his face to show her his purple-ringed eye and swollen lip.
The woman hesitated before repeating the words she often did to many others,Ā ā Go in the night,ā she said, āwhen he-ā¦she is so drunk he sleeps heavily. Take only what she wonāt notice is missing. Donāt worry about clothes or food, she will provide. You will be cared for. Why would you want to return?ā
Before the young man could even thank her, his wife stormed up behind him,Ā āWhat are you doing talking to another woman!?ā
The young man hesitated before the woman at the well said,Ā āHe saw me struggling with my bucket and came to help me. Nothing more.ā
āI see.ā his wife grumbled, clearly still skeptical.
A few nights later, the young man fled. He was quiet and stealthy, until he got to the forest, where he quickly pushed forward into a sprint. He ran and ran, doing his best to remember the directions to the place that promised safety.
Once at last he came across the cave, he stood panting at its mouth before taking his first steps in. He soon found himself in a big lit chamber, women whom he had recognized as from his same village sat around. Some drinking and eating, others playing games, others braiding each otherās hair. But when he entered, they all looked up at him, some in surprise, others in shock, or fear.
āWhat is a man doing here?ā they whispered,Ā āHas the village sent a mercenary after Medusa?āĀ āAre we no longer safe here?ā the whispers grew into an almost deafening cacophony of the same hopelessness he felt back in the village. Surely, he thought, these women who are fearful of their husbands would not want to welcome a man among them. Perhaps I should have stayed at home, and let them be.
However, when he turned to leave, he found himself face to face with the gorgon woman. Her eyes seemed to pierce deep into his very soul, as if to weed through the annals of his true self.
His mind raced, trying to think of what to say to defend himself against this protector of women, to justify his entrance into this blessed sanctuary for the broken and beaten. But before he could part his lips, she spoke.
āFear not my sisters. Look upon the wounds on his face. He too has come hear for safety from violence. Look into his eyes. He is afraid and hurt, as many of you were when you first came to me. Young man, you are welcome here, for this is a place of safety from cruelty. I know all too well that the hardships of life do not discriminate those of whom they strike against. Come, to your new home, and meet your sisters. Come and be safe.ā
She gently took his bundles and began to carry them away, and when she looked back at him to see if he was following, he felt her eyes peer deep inside him, and begin to shed away the stone that had encased his heart.
(I hope you like this addition because male abuse victims also need happy endings.)
Oh my goshā¦
This is such a beautiful and tearjerking addition
Thank you
Can I ask a favor?
Aspec people (anyone whoās on the aromantic or asexual spectrums) are often afraid to interact in queer spaces (especially when it comes to Pride) because online, thereās a small but very vocal group of people called exclusionists dedicating to tearing down the aspec community and denying us our place in the queer community. Historically, whatās going on is no different than when trans people had to fight for their place in the community, or when bi people had to fight for their place in the community, or even when lesbians had to fight for their place in the community.
So I have an easy request and a slightly harder request. First, reblog this post to spread the word and let your aspec followers know that you support their inclusion in queer spaces. Then, show your support in real life. If you know someone whoās aspec, tell them that you support them and that theyāre a part of the community, even if they already know. If you lead or go to a GSA or other queer group, make sure everyone there knows that aspec people are a part of the queer community. If you make flags or merch, see if you can make some using aspec symbols. Even a small but meaningful show of support will make us feel more comfortable and acccepted in the queer community.
lol girls really arenāt allowed to enjoy anything if a girl wears vans and american eagle jeans and posts selfies on vsco sheās a basic bitch if a girl gets drunk at parties and wears tube tops and has sex sheās a slut if a girl has pressed flowers in her phone case and wears doc martens and eats vegetarian sheās an ~ uwu wannabe quirky girl ~ if a girl hangs out with guys and plays video games sheās still a slut sheās just pretending to be a bro we arenāt allowed to enjoy anything or be ourselves under any circumstances you can really smell the misogyny canāt you
Misogyny makes the assumption that women are never sincere about anything, and bases its entire ideology on that
And the sickest part is how you internalize it as a woman. You get to wondering what parts of you are real and not.

For those who donāt know, I launched my hair care company not too long ago. Iām currently selling a unisex hair & beard growth serum thatās all natural, high quality, coconut oil free, and makes your beard & scalp feel like itās chewing minty fresh gum š„°
I make everything by hand, my formula came from my own creativity and research (I didnāt buy from a private label like most new hair care companies are doing).
As someone who suffers from extreme shedding due to old chemical burns from the relaxers I used to get, breakage because my natural hair is super dry and super, gross dandruff thatās induced by stress - I can honestly say that my oil is pretty bomb and it can alleviate any mild scalp issues like dryness, flakes and itchiness. As for beards, this oil will give you an extra boost if your main problem is shedding.
This serum contains several different carrier and essential oils that promotes hair growth and will reduce breakage and excessive shedding. However, itās important to take care of your hair and beard - you must wash and condition your hair or beard due to the fact that oils are not moisturizers, they just seal in moisture. Meaning, this is the last product you apply when you are doing your regimen.
You can use this product while wearing protective styles by applying the product to your scalp and edges but be sure to moisturize your hair as well.
This product is not intended to cure or to sell anyone false hopes and dreams. This is to give you an extra boost! If you canāt naturally grow a beard, this canāt help you or if you have any underlying health issues thatās affecting hair growth on your scalp, I think itās important to speak to a doctor to help your figure out the most appropriate treatment for you.
This shouldnāt be used by pregnant women because some of the essential oils can probably induce labor but it can be used during your post partum period because thatās when extreme shedding occurs.
Iāve compared my product to the others on the market - what sets mine apart is just the quality and thereās no fillers in it (soybean oil, corn oil, mineral oil or petroleum).
Itās truly amazing. This thing have grown my edges many times after I ripped them out after detangling incorrectly š

Alright Lesbians, The Old Flag Sucks And So Does Our ApproachĀ To Fixing It.
So Iāve seen a lot of posts about how the L in LGBT is getting forgotten in posts about us and how people are using the fact we no longer have one unified flag to fly under, as an excuse.Ā
The lipstick lesbian flag was offensive but at least people knew what it was.
The new flags are inoffensive but unidentifiable. Straight people donāt know what our flag is when its two feet in front of them and thatās a designĀ problem.
So Iām here to explain why none of the flags suggested so far have really stuck in mainstream culture and hopefully fix it.
The main reason is our flags suck from a graphic design standpoint. Their purpose is not easy to figure out unless someone labels them. Weāve taken the bio hazard mode of symbolism; pick a sign thatās both memorable and meaningless and through cultural education, assign it a meaning. This is a terrible fucking approach and therefor bad design.
So hereās the checklist:
1) Flag must have meaning
2) Identifiable to everyone. A person who has no idea what a lesbian even is should know just by looking that this flag, is about girls liking girls.
3) Unique and Accessible. Can someone who is completely color blind tell that this is the lesbian flag and not the gay or trans flag.
4)Traditional Color Symbolism. Use the culture your currently in, not the culture you wish to create as no one will understand that yellow is suppose to mean femininity. For now stick with pink.
5) Not Eye Bleeding. No Neon.
6) Inclusive. This aināt just a white lesbian flag, this is an all lesbian flag. If people feel the need to add another colored stripe after the fact to represent themselves, your doing it wrong.
So If We Must Ditch The Old Flag, Try Replacing It With This. I Think With Enough Signal Boosting This Flag Will Catch On.
Symbolism:
The brown fem sign represents all the women of color that first fought for our rights and acts as a reminder to lesbians of color today that they are welcomed.
The white fem sign represents our more privileged sisters who gave the movement numbers.
The interlocking design shows solidarity.
The Pink Triangle is an inversion of the more famous triangle used to label gays in Nazi Germany. Its a tribute to those whoāve been hurt and a light house for those of us that are still hurting today.
The top of the triangle points up and forward guiding us
The base of the triangle reminds us of where we have been and how far we have come
Also meant to look like a couple walking down a never ending street.
The black outline represents those we have lost.
The magenta stripe represents the love we all share
The light pink stripe represents all the trans lesbians that call the community home
The white stripe represents all the non-binary lesbians whom we accept with open arms
The dark pink stripe represents femininity in all itās forms.
FEEL FREE TO USE AS ICON/HEADER/WHATEVER! LETS SPREAD THIS AND BRING UNITY! REPOST, REBLOG, LETS GET THIS FLAG OUT THERE!
ONE FLAG TO RULE THEM ALL!
Alright SOĀ many of yous got in a bit of a huff about it being too feminine despite me pointing out thatĀ āfemininity in all its formsā refers to the entire futch scale because apparently butches hate pink. so here we go butches, I fixed it. I took your color suggestions.
2.0 is here
minor changes were made to the sizes of the stripes and the centering of the triangle.
Clarifications on Symbolism:
feminity in all its forms is now represented by purple.
When I say non-binary Iām referring explicitly to any identity that is not male or female. So that by default will catch all the intersex, genderqueer, agender, ect folk. Sorry for the confusion.
The size of the stripes is not indicative of importance, the small stripes are people and identities, the big ones are feelings and abstract concepts.Itās pretty simple.Ā
For all you knitters out there,
Ā the triangle and the pink stripe can use whatever pink you have on hand for the trans flag, which means youād only need to stock one extra color pink to your yarn stash. for the harder parts of the design id just grab a piece of felt and stitch it into the item like crochet people do with toys.
how many colors does the flag need to have?: 5
2 shades of pink, one shade of purple, one shade of brown, one white. (black optional)
Ā so now that the flag is fixed we can get back to spreading the flag around and hopefully unifying under it.
NON LESBIANS FEEL FREE TO REBLOG!Ā
ITS A BIG HELP TO GETTING THE FLAG SPREAD ROUND THE COMMUNITY
ALRIGHT SOME OF YALLS DONāT LIKE THE FLAG BECAUSEĀ IT WOULD BE HARD TO MAKE CHARACTER ICONS OUT OF.Ā

Intimidation Meme
Sometimes itās difficult for people to seek contact with each other because they can feel intimidated by others. Using this meme, you can send the symbols to my askbox that represent to you how intimidating I am to you. This way, it could be more clear to both sides how things are based on these feelings.
š - YOU ARE THE SOFTEST BEING. š - Iām not afraid of reaching out to you. š - To me, you are easy to approach. š - I think you are a really friendly person. š¶ - Iām not sure if I can reach out to you. š - You seem a little distant from others. š - I feel like you would not really like me. š² - Iām afraid of reaching out to you. š - I wish I had the courage to start talking to you. š„ - I am very intimidated by you. I wish it wasnāt that way, because you seem cool. š« - I admire you from the sidelines because you seem cool and Iām just a dork. š§ - Senpai, notice me???? š¦ - I feel really insecure when I want to reach out to you. šØ - You intimidate meā¦.a whole damn lot. š - I wish I could be your friend but to me, you are so hard to reach out to. š± - I am so incredibly intimidated by you, it even makes me a little anxious sometimes. š - OH MY GOD DONāT EAT ME PLEASE
can someone explain the alignment chart for me but in like, the simplest wording possible lmao
lawful good: i want to do the right thing, and following societyās rules is the best way to do that
neutral good: i want to do whatās right, and iām willing to bend or break the rules as long as no one gets hurt
chaotic good: iām willing to do whatever it takes as long as itās to do the right thing
lawful neutral: following the rules of society is the most important thing, and that matters more to me than doing whatās right
true neutral: i just want myself and the people i care about to be happy
chaotic neutral: i want my freedom, and i donāt care what i have to do to keep it
lawful evil: to impede the protagonists (in whatever evil way) is my primary goal, but i follow my own code of morals even when itās inconvenient
neutral evil: to impede the protagonists (in whatever evil way) is the my primary goal, and while iāll do what it takes to achieve it, i also wonāt go out of my way to do unnecessary damage
chaotic evil: i relish in destruction and want to do as much damage as possible while i try to achieve my primary goal
Iām neutral good then
