Manuel was born in a small village in Mexico as the second oldest of 11 children. As a teenager, he immigrated to America and found his way to Silverton, Oregon. Soon after settling into the area, he met an amazing woman named Rose Tolman. They quickly fell in love, married, and raised three beautiful children together. Manuel loved his wife and children with all his heart. He spent his life working diligently to provide the best life he could for them. He often worked multiple jobs at least six days a week so he could help support his elderly parents back in Mexico as well. He continued to work with John's Waterproofing until the final years of his battle with Lymphoma.

Manuel wasn't just a father to his three children. He became a father figure to so many. Those who called him dad are too numerous to list. He couldn't take a trip to the grocery store without running into someone he cared deeply for.

The family is heartbroken by the loss of Manuel. They had hoped to have more time with him and were shocked when they were told he had less than a week to live. Just a week before, he had planned to participate in another research study to help further Lymphoma treatment options. After many years of battling cancer, he passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could help the family during this unimaginable time. The funds will be used for his end-of-life costs, including medical care, funeral, and other expenses.
