One of the hardest things in the world is knowing that your friend is hurting, be it physically or emotionally, and not being able to help them, not being able to make sure that they don't hurt themselves, or worse, kill them selves, 'cause you know if they die you will tell your self every day that there was perhaps something you could of done, when in actual fact there was nothing more you could of done. I understand depression, mental illness, I have been on both sides of the fence, I have been sad and been angry at a friend who cuts because I didn't want to lose her light from my life. I see on my dash that there are a lot of people out there hurting and I hope and pray they will find the strength to carry on, you are here, you are strong, you are fighting a battle that not everyone will understand, so keep fighting, keep your head up and remember that YOUR life is worth living.
