OC-Tober Day 1

Prompt: Your first O.C

- Hi guys so for this October I wanted to do something different for October instead of inktober so I’m going do OC-tober. It’s day one and the prompt is draw you’re first o.cs. My first o.cs we’re Yoshi (orange) and Yuki(Gray). I made them when I was 11 as for my mascots on Flipnote hatena. When ever they were in a flipnote it was for comedy while other o.cs I had at the time we’re for serious stories.I eventually change my mascots but they came back to being two of my mascots in 2014 as apart of my chibi gang.

Trivia:

Yoshi is very outgoing while yuki is very lazy (as you can tell).

Yoshi favorite food is dango

Yuki favorite food is onigiri

Finally done! This is a gift for @pryotra. I was really inspired to do a piece like this after reading the recent chapter of lunar shadows. I’m not good with words so I draw it out instead lol. Your writing is truly beautiful.

Now that I’m not dying anymore I want to point out some things:

Hakuno and Enkidu in the first pic are made from code and clay, and I love how it shows that both are, at some level, not human, while at the same time struggling with that. Enkidu stands behind her showing the similarity of two beings created for a role but who wanted more.

The final picture, showing Gil is less that they’re similar and more that he’s standing up and supporting her, with confidence, the code vanishes, showing that Hakuno is, very much human as Gil.

Sorry, but I seriously love this.

Yes, I think that was one of the things I really like about chapter 25. I think it was really incredible how the similarities and themes of each other of the character’s whether it was Rani, Sakura, Gil, Enkidu, and hakuno were brought up again in Hakuno’s mental break down. That it isn’t biology that makes human’s human. I think that the story had always had that theme about what makes a human a human through First or Lunar shadows but in this chapter I think it was conclusion in way to that theme but the way it was handle through hakuno’s feelings was really emotional and fulling for the audience or at least for me.

Also! One more thing but I was thinking about this but servants are usually summon using a catalyst in the main series to the servant they desire. If a master wasn’t to use a catalyst usually what occurs is that a servant is summon with similarities to the master. For example Medusa and Sakura or Gilles de Rais and Ryuunosuke. So is that why Enkidu was hakuno’s first servant because of their similarities?

And I’m glad you love it. I love your story so there will probably be more fanart in the future lol 😂
