Best 1-hour running split for fitness, fat loss, and speed
40 percent easy run at a comfortable pace, about 60 to 70 percent of max heart rate.
30 percent moderate run, controlled breathing, about 70 to 80 percent of max heart rate.
20 percent tempo run, hard but sustainable, 80 to 88 percent of max heart rate.
10 percent easy cool down to bring heart rate back down.
This mix builds endurance, improves speed, and maximizes fat burning efficiently.
It also reduces injury risk compared to doing only hard runs.
