alright so I decided to move Lacie to a new blog, mainly to get away from clutter on this blog and such. ANY and ALL threads I have going here, I will finish on my new blog, so don’t worry!

you wanna know what really messes me up emotionally? oswald and lacie's relationship.

 like okay, even though oswald was DEAD SET on killing lacie to prevent everything from happening, he could not do it. he tried to kill oz but then alice stepped in the way and guess who he saw? lacie. and it stopped him dead in his tracks. even though in his mind, he justified the reasoning to go back in time to kill lacie before she joined the baskervilles, he could not do it. even when he did go back in time to find her as a child and he saw her talking to his younger self and even waving at his older self, he realized he couldn't do it. 

he could not bring himself to kill his beloved little sister a second time.

 he loves lacie, he adores his little sister so much. he would do anything to protect her and felt so, so guilty over the fact that he would be the one to have to kill her due to her being a child of Misfortune (WHICH WAS JUST A LIE. when he found out that her existence wasn't a sin, that all the suffering and torment lacie went through from the moment she was born was just a lie from Jury, he got PISSED) he was always nearby her when possible, he was always protective of her as seen when he knocks Jack out quickly the moment he gets close and hugs Lacie. He was willing to do whatever to make her happy and was horrified to learn what would happen to her. and Lacie, she told him not to blame himself, she had no ill feelings about her fate, she did not blame him and that probably confused him a little bit. he worried over her and no doubt felt an incredible sense of loss when she was gone. he was mad at himself for choosing the role of the Head of the Baskervilles over being her older brother. he was angry at her for what she did, yes, but he forgave her. all the shit that went down, and he still was able to forgive her.

 AND LACIE-- I dare anyone to tell me that Lacie did not love her brother as much as he loved her. he was always there for her, keeping her safe and happy and she greatly appreciated it. sure, they argued, but what siblings don't? lacie could always tell how Oswald was feeling even if he tried to hide it, and when her fate got closer and closer, she knew what he was thinking and she told him ' no, do not blame yourself, do not go there' because she didn't want him to be sad after she was gone from this world. she didn't want him to wallow in sorrow and hurt, she wanted him to continue on with his life. and she herself felt guilty for keeping what she did with Revis a secret from him for so long, apologizing to him at her last moment with a sad smile. it was also probably a sorry for what had to happen to her and some guilt over him having to go through having a child of Misfortune as a little sister. 

 they love each other so much and did you see that panel with Lacie smiling at him-- a genuinely happy smile-- and he's smiling the same way at her? they are family, they would do anything for one another and I am so upset over these two bye

something was seeking her out in the forest, she didn’t know what but she needed to know. as she walked closer to a noise that she heard, someone grabbed her from behind. rosalie heart started to pound faster & faster. she wanted to scream for help but the person holding her covered her mouth before she can get a yelp out.

the brunette listened to the other female said, nodding slowly to make sure the other knew she was on the same page. as the woman uncovered rosa’s mouth, she took a sharp inhale to calm her nerves. she was scared shitless at the moment & the voices weren’t helping the situation. they were on maximum volume, giving the female a headache. tears were streaming down her face at the sight of those MONSTROUS CREATURES eating what looked like a human boy about her age.

eyes shut tight trying to get the image out of her head, but she couldn’t. why on earth was she drawn out here? to see these creatures of night eating an innocent human being? she wanted to run away from the sight but she couldn’t leave the woman who practically saved her alone with those monsters. what on earth were these creatures? & why are they in beacon hills?

they had to leave. NOW. lacie knew that if they stayed any longer, it would mean CERTAIN death. she didn't know how, or why, but something told her that delaying would mean become the wendigos's next meal. and lacie was not about to let that happen.

now, lacie had a unique set of skills. constantly getting into trouble while growing up earned her talents she was remarkable at, such as getting out of difficult situations. now, the parking lot where the creatures were was abandoned. not a car in sight, so sneaking past wouldn't work. a street lamp was illuminated not too far from their position, so taking the street would be a dead giveaway. ruby eyes land on their final resort-- the forest. a dense layer of fog covered it and the cloudy sky overhead would conceal them well.

' come on, this way.and keep quiet. '

a last glance was spared to make sure the wendigos were still distracted (poor kid. he never had a chance) before she grabbed the other's hand and started quietly leading her to the forest. she knew the path that led to her home like the back of her hand. it was their best shot, and she was glad she picked one isolated enough to where only she knew how to get to it besides using the main road. a soft squeeze is given to the brunette's hand-- an attempt at reassuring her. she didn't fail to recognize the tears nor pained expression. hopefully getting this girl far away from the scene would help ease her..

one would think that being alone in a dense forest past dark would be utterly terrifying. for lacie, it was perhaps the most comforting setting to her. no one to pester her, no obnoxious nobles to sneer at her. it was peace and bliss almost at its finest. 

she wasn’t alone, however.

arms shoot forward to grasp tightly around the younger woman, pulling her back. a tight grip is maintained as one hand covers her mouth as words are whispered.

’ SHHH– don’t make a sound. They’ll hear you. ’

‘they’ being the creatures currently dismembering a corpse on the other side of the wall. wendigos-- nasty things.  lacie could hear the sickening crunch of bones, and she hesitated to risk a look. she didn’t want them to see her or the girl that lacie stopped from walking head first into the fray. running wasn't an option, nor was fighting. the only solution lacie could think of? wait and pray to god they don't notice you.

tips for what to do after a really long cry because you’re probably feeling all kinds of exhausted and drained and i don’t want that for you in the slightest:

take a shower and change all of your clothes even your socks and underwear. this is the first step to everything. 

pour yourself a big, cold glass of water and drink it. all of it. once you’re done, get yourself a refill. this will boost u physically and emotionally instantly please trust me.

grab a snack, something light that you don’t have to wait to prepare. i recommend a pudding cup, a piece of fruit, yogurt, a popsicle, or some crackers. 

get under the covers. turn on something - tv, a movie, music, anything distracting. or consider calling a friend or talking to anyone nearby, even your sibling the next room over!!

know that you are loved. you are important. you mean more than you know right now, more than you will maybe ever know. you are worth all the stars in the sky. you deserve to feel good.
