All right - and that's about all the Goretober prompts that I really wanted to do on this list. I've been stewing on the remaining prompts, but nothing spectacular comes to mind, so we end it here. :) This one was my fave to draw, in the end. The whole challenge was worth it just to draw that, I swear. Honorable mentions: this one and this one. A little surprised that this one got passed around a couple of times! I'll be thinking of that when I write that scene in the book next month. Speaking of which, now I've got NaNo to prep for, so things'll probably go quiet over here for a bit. Hoping some folks will poke through what I did make during the down time, though. I think I'll keep this account around for any future bloody violent art I might want to make.

Goretober 10 - Crystals "After a certain point, there's just.. there's just nothing else you can do but put them out of their misery. Hopefully before they hurt anyone..." -- Not quite crystals, but the "space rabies" in Alpha Base does cause some, uh, changes....

I have not, in fact, forgotten the challenge I'm supposed to be doing here. It's just that it abruptly occurred to me that if I'm going to be doing NaNoWriMo next month, then I need ten weeks' worth of comics finished for my Patreon in order to buy myself enough time to focus on writing. It also abruptly occurred to me that this is my last long weekend before the month of writerly doom (for it is Canadian Thanksgiving) and so it was now or never! I just finished 36 hours of being hunched over a table inking and painting, which I don't recommend, but it was worth it. Work's done! Comics'll continue on Patreon without me. As for Goretober, I'll just jump back in starting tomorrow and do an occasional extra sketch to catch myself up by the 31st. Easy peasey.

Goretober #5 - Stitches .... directly related to a post I made on my main blog @magpies-gold but, uh, I had an obvious choice here. My guy really needs to be a little more careful. (although his inability to attempt any sort of badassery without a lot of panicked cursing and ultimately face-planting spectacularly is, I argue, what makes him an endearing sort of trash bag character)

Goretober #4 - Torture (I almost threw my Apple pencil across the room drawing this one because goddamn hands and knives but I diiiiid it -whew-) I had far grander ideas, but there's only so much I can pull off when I have to scribble reallyreallyfast in the evening times. -sigh-

Goretober #3 - What, No Head? ..... I'm actually a little surprised that it took me this long to have a story where someone literally loses their head. You'd think the giant bitey razor-toothed lizards in my webcomic would have beat Alpha Base to it, but no.
