Everything's been a blur recently...
"That’s true I guess."
She gives him a smooch on the forehead
He makes a somewhat disgruntled noise with the kiss, flopping on the couch and rubbing it away with his sleeve.
"If you’d like sweetie! Just make sure you’re comfortable"
"There wouldn't be a point if I just laid down without being comfortable. Who the hell can sleep if they're uncomfortable anyways?"
"Are you sure? If you’re tired you can always lay down sweetie"
"I know I could, but I don't want to. ... Can I just sleep on the couch?"
"I’m not going to go away, I am your mother after all"
"... Fine. I'm just tired, I guess. It's nothing to worry about, really."
M!A: ayano is kuroha's mom and loves her for a day
… Where’s mom?
"What are you whining about sweety?"
"... Why do you care? Go away."
[ Stupidly overdramatic groaning. ]
... My head really hurts.

He’s taking Hanako for a walk on the edge of the hospital grounds. He doesn’t seem to be paying much attention to his surroundings, but he keeps mumbling to himself, something about the flowers this time of year—in fact, he would have run straight into another person if not for the dog stopping in her tracks and whining to warn him. “Ah—I’m sorry,” he stiffens as he speaks, eyes wide despite his attempts to keep a calm expression.
In all honesty, the same scenario was unfolding for Haruka. He was slightly disoriented, having woken up on a park bench when people came and questioned his condition. The poor boy himself had been puzzled, but figured he was fine, deciding he ought to at least attempt to find his way home. His eyes focused on the sky, abruptly halting when the dog whined at her owner. "A-Ah... it's okay! I wasn't paying attention," he explained, laughing softly.
Her eyebrow raised curiously at the information. He thinks? Well, she was one to forget things as well, but she wouldn’t forget something that happened such a short time ago. But she shrugged it off, not really minding it. Perhaps he had a short attention span? That could have been it.
Her head nodded eagerly at his question, her smile already so bright, becoming even brighter. “Of course, Konoha-kun! I’ll go ask the nurse if I can bring you outside, okay?” With that she held up a finger, saying ‘Hold on sec!’ before quickly walking out of the room. It took her a few moments, but she came back inside, a bounce in her step.
"They said I can! Do you need a wheelchair or are you okay with walking?"
Honestly, Konoha found himself waking up in places he didn't remember most of the time. It was bothersome to say the least, but he had learned to adapt to it. Konoha glanced towards the desk, wondering how he had managed to be comfortable sitting there, much less sleeping in that spot. Shouldn't his back be aching...?
At the sound of Ayano going to ask the nurse for permission, his head canted to the side. "Why do you--" Konoha began to inquire, only to trail off once she exited the room. He raised his hands, focusing on them and turning them over as a way to momentarily entertain himself until the female returned.
"... I can walk," he stated, roaming in a small circle to prove his point.
... Why was I asleep at a table?
"It’s nice to meet you, Konoha-kun!" How odd. The boy she knew that had the same face as him was named Haruka, though she didn’t make a comment on it. Saying people had resemblances to others one knew made things awkward— people would just reply with ‘Oh, I see!’ and down went that conversation.
Her gaze trailed to the outstretched hand, her own reaching out and gripping firmly as she gave it a good shake. “Have you been outside today, Konoha-kun? The weather’s really nice!”
"It's nice to meet you too," he reiterated by accident, the fact that he had already that slipping his mind. Konoha hadn't taken notice of the fact that Ayano seemed to think something was... well, strange about this whole encounter. However, that was probably for the best all things considered, so Konoha took the returned words with a small smile.
Konoha flinched when his hand was grabbed, startled but returning the gesture with relative speed. "... No, I haven't been outside yet. I was just taking a nap, I think," he recounted, trying to think back on what exactly he had been doing. Oh well, it couldn't be that important, right? "Can we go outside, Ayano-chan?"
Headache...
... There was a hair tie in my hair, but I don't even have enough hair right now for a small ponytail.
Idiots.
