Fun fact I thought you should know: ants give off a special sent when they die to tell other ants to put them in the ant graveyard, and if you put said sent on a /Very Alive/ still breathing ant, it’ll think it’s dead and put ITSELF in the ant graveyard and stay there until the sent goes off. When that happens all of them pretend like nothing ever happened and the fake dead ant will go back to work

Also how fucking poetic is it that after that dinner with Ikithon and everything that was said during it Caleb keeps mentioning having a great place for them to sleep, that it's perfect and they'll all love it. And it sounds like it's probably some nostalgic place he went to when he was still under Trent. But no. It's the mansion. He uses a 7th level (I think) spell to make them a fucking mansion and calls it their home. After all the bullshit Trent just threw at him, Caleb said fuck you, my family and my home is the Mighty Nein. It'll never be you and it never was. Because Cad when right, nothing grows from pain. Trent broke Bren, but the Nein built Caleb.
