Adobe Spark Postseason Guide
An Adobe Spark piece I updated weekly for UConn as their official women’s basketball postseason guide.
I had full control of all content and acquired all materials save UConn team photos, including logos and host site photos.

Feature Layout + Graphics
A photo spread I designed and edited for East Carolina University’s official football guide. All the information was sent as text and I created a layout to best present it in a digestible format.

InDesign Graphic Samples
Simple graphics repository I created for designing charts and infographics, fully editable in InDesign for general use by our teams. Everything can be manipulated via InDesign’s eyedropper tool.

Create a dropdown menu for InDesign Publish Online that opens on rollover and closes on rolloff, for a more streamlined user experience.
InDesign Online Interactive Menu Tutorial
See this link for a fully interactive tutorial, or download the file below for a static version (PDFs do not support dropdown functionality, but the steps to create one are available).

An InDesign tutorial I put together for coworkers and myself, so I didn’t forget how I’d done it, either.
Note, as of publication, “roll off” event triggers are sometimes a little sluggish for InDesign Publish Online.

Editorial writing
Note: As Editor of The Eastern Progress, writing the weekly editorial was a regular duty. The managing editor and I kept it fun by challenging each other each week to work a ridiculous phrase into the piece. The phrase for this one was “Care Bear Stare,” delivered at 3 a.m. the night before the paper went to press. We wanted to address the Council on Post-secondary Education’s desire that Kentucky universities dramatically expand. I included this in my portfolio despite an editing error because it was an important topic and because I had fun with it.
