I believe more animals should be protected the same way that manatees are. In Florida, there are laws that do not allow manatees to be touched or bothered. They are federally protected and if these laws are broken, legal trouble will follow. Many other animals deserve to be protected against hunting and all other forms of harassment. Endangered animals are at high risk for extinction which means they should be protected at all costs. Spreading awareness can help prevent this issue in the future and save more animal species.

Animals all throughout the ocean are being negatively affected by waste dumped in the ocean. Specifically plastic is a big killer for these animals. Sea creatures often see waste and mistake it for food, which leads to a risk of choking. Things such as can holders get stuck around small animals necks or limbs which leads to injuries or even death. Waste being dumped in the ocean is a result of carelessness and ignorance. Water takes up such a large part of our planet, it is not only affecting animals but humans too. Cutting up soda plastic is a proactive way of making sure no animals will be harmed by this waste. Help change the world and make an impact!

Unlike humans, animals unfortunately do not have any basic rights. They are considered property therefore, owners can do what they want. People need to come together and fight for the right thing to do. Animals should be more protected with laws stating the type of care that is required for them. There should also be thorough background checks before someone is able to adopt a pet, to ensure the pet is going to a nice, loving home. Animals should be treating as living creatures, not objects and its time to make a change.

A big problem Africa faces today is many species reaching extinction. This problem is caused by unnecessary hunting for a sport. Many animals are illegal to hunt, however people do it anyway. The African elephant has now reached the endangered species list because hunters kill these creatures just to display their tusks or make statutes out of their body parts. Spreading awareness about these endangered species can stop these hunters from completing their pointless kills.

I believe the horses that carry people around in New York City should be banned. Although they do not participate for certain weather conditions, they are still expected to carry large amounts of weight. Peta should get these horses taken off the streets and properly cared for. Horses deserve the same treatment as other animals and the same rights as humans have. This is cruel and unfair treatment to these animals which needs to be stopped.

Not only does SeaWorld put their animals lives in jeopardy, they do the same to their trainers. In 2010, an orca whale trainer was killed during a live show by an orca whale. This whale had already killed two people prior to Dawn Brancheau, the 2010 victim. After knowing he was dangerous, they continued to allow trainers to be in the tanks with the whales. SeaWorld only cares about the money rather than the safety of animals and trainers.

One of State Fairs biggest attraction is the animals. Petting zoos make money from selling food to give the animals while kept in small spaces. Bunnies at the fair are kept in small metal cages which are bad for their claws and give them no space to hop around. People are able to ride small ponies for hours at a time which greatly harms their bodies. All the animals at the fair are given little to no space to even walk around. Animals need to be taken out of the fair and treated in a more humane way. Help stop this today by speaking up and spreading awareness.

Many people love to watch horse races and even bet money on them. However, people do not consider the behind the scenes treatment of these horses. Some horses are treated with loads of care but many are drugged, abused, and just mistreated. Overworking is one of the main issues for these horses. Not only is racing a big risk and a lot on their bodies, they often do not receive proper after care. Help end this unfair treatment and get more rights for animals as a whole.

Many big companies use animals for testing when the customers don't know what is going. Examples of these companies is L'Oreal, Covergirl, Estee Lauder and many others. It is important to stop the support towards these companies to stop animal testing from continuing. Stop using these companies to help stop this unfair way of testing products.

One of the places animals face the most unfair treatment is the circus. Elephants are started to be chained up while they are babies and can be left there for up to 23 hours a day. PETA has gotten animals taken out of most circus's, but not all of them. #animalcruelty #helpanimalrights

Zoos are harmful to animals in numerous ways. Not only are the animals kept in a secluded area that isn't big enough, they are under fed and dehydrated. The living conditions for zoo animals is very stressful with people constantly only a glass wall away. In the living areas, there is not much entertainment for the animals which results to boredom, leading to depression. Animals kept in captivity do not live as long as they would in the wild because they have to alter their living habits and do not have proper veterinary care. Zoos destroy ecosystems and contribute to the endangered species list. Boycott your local zoo to help make a change.

HI, welcome to my blog! My blog is going to focus on animal rights and how places such as SeaWorld and zoos abuse these rights. A great example of animals being treated poorly is SeaWorld. They hold orca whales captive in tanks as little as 30 feet long, which is equivalent to a human In a bathtub. Not only do they have poor living conditions, orcas are sedated and forcefully bred against their will. Workers for SeaWorld go out on boats in search for baby orcas to capture from their moms. They underfeed their animals and train them to perform for shows by using starving techniques. These parks only care about the amount of income they receive, rather than the health and safety of their animals and trainers.
