I have several names, but on Tumblr please call me Dan, Dewflop or Dew.

I'm a 20 year old artist specializing in fantasy art. I am transgender and use he/him or she/her pronouns. Please use masculine titles to refer to me!

I am a part of several fandoms and mostly exist here to reblog funny things or make unfunny text posts, although I've recently been posting some art sketches and characters here as well. I do not make fanart for any fandoms, I just post my own OCs with little to no explanation. If you happen to follow me when I do fanart once in a blue moon, just know it's not conistent!

In terms of interests...

I have a bunch of original characters I'm obsessed with- Hunter, Calliope, Alexander, Zachary, Vivian, Antimony, Chamomile/Sage, and Corentyn. I'll tell you all about them if you ask... I also like:

Video games (Terraria my BELOVED, Minecraft, Stray, Slime Rancher, Powerwash Sim, West of Loathing and assoc.).

Musicals (Starkid Productions, Six, Hadestown, etc)

TV Shows (TOH, Disenchantment, the Good Place, Lucifer, Good Omens, Our Flag Means Death, She-Ra POP, etc)

I have a YouTube channel (Ultimate Drawings) which is mostly abandoned. There is an astronomically small chance you may recognize my username from Wattpad if you're a Wings of Fire kid- I was one of the 'bigger' fanfiction writers a few years back.

Interact with me, talk to me! I try to be friendly. I love talking about my characters and will use any excuse to do so. If you send me a question for my OCs to answer I'll probably even make a bunch of doodles for it.

I'll also just... talk about myself or my interests if you're curious. Don't be afraid to talk! :)

Unironically I think the early to mid 20s age group in America has unbelievably bad consent boundaries on all levels and so much language to defend it but this makes me sound like elon musk if I say it however the commonality of someone who will be like “I had 47 panic attacks and it’s your fault” if you tell them no is insane

When I was in this age bracket, there was a huge emphasis on improving consent culture via graceful rejection, and it's gone by the wayside. Which sucks.

Twice in my youth (once in high school and once in college) I was in situations where I was asking someone out and I could tell they were calculating in their heads the risks of rejecting me, and both times I said, out loud, "you can say no, I wouldn't have asked if I wasn't prepared for either answer." And then they said no. This wasn't some spark of special wisdom I had - I knew to do it because feminist conversations among my age group brought it up regularly. This isn't happening nearly enough anymore.

More recently, I was really glad when we got to "rejection sensitive dysphoria" in my IOP program and it was one of those symptoms where the therapists really emphasized how it affects others. Because it does.

Being someone who cannot handle rejection makes you much more likely to violate boundaries, and yes, that includes sexual ones. Yes, you, reader who has never hurt a fly. If you don't want to stumble backwards into sexually assaulting someone, fix your RSD meltdowns. If you keep them up it's only a matter of time. Because if you're nice enough to interact with, but are known to have RSD meltdowns, guess what happens when your friends and acquaintances need to reject you?

#even in non romantic situations #i can confirm i often feel like i cant tell my friends with RSD the truth or theyll break down and itll be my fault #knowing as someone who studies psychology that these behaviors are not inherently my fault and it is on them to wprk on it #vs being a friend who cares.#makes this really hard to navigate #i feel obligated to never have boundaries or corrections

hi, i'm living in my car and need help surviving. i'm making a meager income on music, but still end up dead broke constantly. until that income increases, i need donations to survive. please help me out if you have anything to spare!

my car is broken down and doesn't move anymore. i'm stuck charging my phone and laptop at the local shops, and can only get food from the few fast food places around here. it's all very expensive and i need help affording it. please consider feeding me so i can keep making music and eventually escape this hole!!
