Hey, so I noticed a lot of people trying to complete their museums in New Horizons have been having trouble distinguishing the real and the forgery of the Gallant Statue (the Michaelangelo’s David.) I made a quick guide in case anyone needs help with this. The difference is very subtle, but if you look closely you’ll be able to tell them apart.

Now, art forgeries been in Animal Crossing for a long time. This mechanic isn’t new to anyone. But there is a newer mechanic introduced in New Horizons. This mechanic is known as “Vulgar” forgeries. These forgeries are so bad, that if you turn one in to Blathers, he will ban you from entering the museum and he will never let you back in again. Here is how to tell apart the three different versions of the Gallant statue, so none of you accidentally get banned from the museum.

Not my usual kind of post but I need to scream for a sec. They purposefully framed every shot of Big Cat Rescue to make the viewer think that the enclosures were small or similar to how Joe kept his wildlife. Notice how when Joe said he flew over to see what they looked like, we never heard jack shit after it? Yeah that's because the enclosers at BCR are huge and give the animals room to roam and enrichment. They do rotations so the animals have a chance to explore new locations. BCR is an accredited facility by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries. They have actual vets and trained staff to look after their residents. The animals there are all rescues but they do releases for wild bobcats that may have been injured too. The recent video they posted about taking one of their bobcats to the vet has more dislikes than likes because of how this doc painted them and I'm baffled. Why are people angry for healing an injured animal so he can go back to the wild? Is that not what we want? You can hate Carole all you want but when it comes to animal welfare (that again the doc conveniently avoided to say how BCR operates because that wouldn't make good tv when they need her to be the villan) she provides more for than any other person in that documentary. It is not the same. But someone is just going to yell at me to "get educated" so I'm just going to set my Animal Science degree on fire now.
