The plague has struck
So if you happen to be in your way to Colorado right now, donāt go to fruita or grand junction or anywhere near Mesa county. We are being hit with a norovirus outbreak. They shut down every school in the county yesterday.
Iām going to pray that Iām not infected.....
I really should have skipped school this week....
Norovirus outbreaks are common. This is because the virus spreads very easily and quickly from infected people to others, and through contaminated foods and surfaces. Outbreaks happen throughout the year, but they occur most often from November to April.
The most common symptoms areĀ Diarrhea, Vomiting, Nausea, Stomach pain.
Protect yourself and others from norovirus:
Wash your hands often
Rinse fruits and vegetables
Cook shellfish thoroughly
Stay home when sick and for two days after symptoms stop
Avoid preparing food for others when sick and for two days after symptoms stop
We have a norovirus outbreak in our school distinct right now. They have shut down the whole district until after thanksgiving.
