It parodies the French "poisson d'avril" tradition ("april fish", often consisting in a prank about sneakily attaching a paper fish to someone's back), and its first ugly drawing dates back to roughly a decade ago! I just had to remake it for that ReDesigner joke! đ
The custom background and the level have since been made available as a bonus for my ColorFun and DarkLight skin packs in Rayman ReDesigner! I have yet to update them for 1.4.4...
This bundle contains all the skins and levels from the ColorFun and DarkLight skin packs. It also adds custom content for the levels.

After the Yamakasi collector DVD featuring a lot of Rayman stuff, hereâs another edition of a Luc Besson movie containing extras from the Rayman franchise!
Taxi 3âs collector set has a bonus disc with a bunch of Rayman 3 content on it! This includes a 2002Â PC demo of Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc, the gameâs opening with Madder by Groove Armada, and the prerelease versions of three Wanna Kick Rayman Animations!
As you can see, these are the lessons numbered 100 (073 on GameCube), 312, 502⊠Except the first is â007â in this early release, a further reference to James Bond!
It seems the Blu-ray of Taxi 3 also includes at least one Wanna Kick Rayman animation according to the back of its box, but I donât have a copy yet to confirm that⊠It may actually be all three of those as theyâre all bundled into a single video file.

An animation of Rayman never seen online since 2001!
Hi everyone, I made a great discovery! While rummaging through my box of Rayman Rush, I noticed that the Yamakasi movie had a collector edition which contains a ton of Rayman goodies, and notably an animation that has seemingly never been shared online since 2001!
That's right, this is Rayman and Globox in their Rayman M / Arena versions doing some funny flips on a roof, Yamakasi-style!
The CD-ROM from the box set also contains:
-A demo of Rayman 2 The Great Escape.
-Two Rayman M wallpapers of Rayman and Tily.
-A Rayman M screensaver.
-A Rayman M theme, with five cursors, six sounds, an icon library (and the Rayman background again).
-A French trailer of Rayman M, which you can also watch below!
It also contains an executable that can launch all of those features, though some may not work correctly on modern devices.
Here's what the collector set looks like! Luckily, despite the obvious age of the box, the discs were in mint condition thanks to its caring previous owner! :)

It's crazy to think that this was lying right under our noses for the past 24 years! I was genuinely believing that such a thing must have been shared many times on the Internet since 2001, but even in the French community, little to no one even knew about any Rayman/Yamakasi collab despite some releases of Rayman M and Rush promoting it! :0
If you ever think you may have found something rare, please look it up and share it if it's not already online, so many media get forgotten despite some of them being pretty easily available for decades!

This incredibly silly adventure is the final form of my oldest Rayman ReDesigner test maps made during the gameâs beta versions! Iâve also bundled them with the main deal, with no alterations besides optimisation and making them compatible with 1.4.4, in order to preserve the classic experience!
Back then, I made them to try out the gameâs features and various ways to share ReDesigner content, and I later decided to merge them into a big joke level inspired by my trademark comedic "divine fruits" (paying homage to Rayman and being a satire of some fanatical spam comments I saw years ago): the Holy Plum and the evil Dark Peach!
(For anyone interested and who can read the language of baguettes, I made some April Fools articles on my old blog about these ridiculous deities, and also took their shenanigans to the world of SoulCalibur VI!)

In Holy Plumâs Crusade, you play as Rayman-Pruna (with a unique plum-themed skin available as an extra): the Chosen of the Holy Plum on a quest to end the operations of Mr Darkâs underlings in a sinister temple, who are working to spread the impure ways of the most unholy fruit...
This new update of Holy Plumâs Crusade not only brings many improvements and additional secrets using the 1.4 series of content, but also implements a short brand new section focused on Dark Peachâs evil minions, mostly Darktoon!
Hereâs also the showcase of the old version, while Iâm at it! The original test maps can be seen in this video dedicated to RockânâRun, as the remix one featured an altered section from that classic of mine.

Back in 2022, I found the final secret of Rayman Redemption tying the game to Rayman 2...
Then, I found the one in Rayman ReDesigner allowing you to use eight secret objects in the editor...
And now, I discovered the Royal.V secret in the Rayman 2 Redreamed demo, that was teased in the Rayman Alive event!
"It's Still Good To Be The King!" đ
I'm really becoming a professional Rayman fangame easter egg hunter! :P
Speaking of secrets in this fan remake of Rayman 2, you can actually break the seventh cage that was in version 0.1.0 of the demo, and even explore the area that's usually only reachable from the Echoing Caves in the original game!
For that, all you have to do is to climb to the vines' hightest points, and glide to wherever you like! The cage can be broken either by shooting while hugging its window, or through the wall if you can fly to the ledge with the closed door!
Note that you can also go to the small ledge with an open entrance, but you can't make it inside due to an invisible wall.
The backtracking area of the Fairy Glade, however, is not blocked! And while it is obviously unfinished as it only contains a Green Lum (that will softlock you to this section if you grab it) and no other features, there's already the plum!
You can detach it from the tree and push it around or even -pretend to- ride it! However, it does not react to Rayman's Magic Fist and the riding feature isn't implemented yet, but it's awesome that all of this is already there nevertheless!
If you want to... well... "greatly escape" to return to the normal playable area, you'll have to go the other side of the river and jump into the hole, then just let the void consume you and bring you back to your previous checkpoint! Just make sure you didn't collect the Green Lum hidden there or you'll have to restart the level...
Then, if you already completed the demo once, you can replay the Fairy Glade to go back to the brand new transitional tunnel with the Purple Lum ability in your pocket, and collect the hidden 50th Yellow Lum for 100% completion!
A certified "YAOUHH!" moment, indeed!
