ok so idk if there’s anybody who likes SFAWTDE and is in the tickle community at the same time/if there’s a tickle fandom for SFAWTDE, but if there’s at least one person out there who, like me, went “whaat why is there no tickle content of SFAWTDE’ after seeing there was nobody making content about it, then i hope i made you happy with this!!! if i did, then i too, am happy :)
i know that this isn’t TOO canon compliant but just don’t think too hard about this one, it’s just a silly thing i drew because i love SFAWTDE!!
btw!! this is the first ever tickle art of SFAWTDE (as far as i’m aware)!!! so i’ve done it again!! drawn the first ever tickle art for a character!! and for once!! im actually happy with how it turned out!! i think it looks great, even though this is just a sketch i coloured and shaded

Summary: Every moment spent at the playtime factory was stressful, despite this Angel and the remaining toys find a way to show joy is still possible even in times as painful as these
AN: Hello lovelives!! I am back with another fic this time a Poppy playtime one because I refuse to acknowledge canon<3 This is set in an Au where the Player (Angel is what I'm calling him) can make the choices to save the toys he encounters. So Huggy, Mommy, Dogday, Yarnaby, with safe Haven pretty much acting as a home base for the Toys that Angel rescues. This is set a little after initial stuff in Chapter 4 but just before Chapter 5. I hope you all enjoy :3
Angels body ached.
Seriously he was going to need some serious painkillers when he got out of this....if he got out of this that is.
The source of today's particular strife was a long gash in his left arm thanks to a jagged piece of metal he'd so kindly cut it against running from the little nightmare critters-normally he'd found he could avoid the things and scare them off but once they got into a pack and tired to swarm him his only option was to pretty much run or fight for his life-and as of late he'd been going for the latter.
It wasn't too deep thankfully, nothing some bandages and expired healing cream couldn't fix. But it hurt like hell and did little to uplift his current mood, not that there was a lot that could uplift his current mood in the child experimentation factory-but he digressed.
He was exhausted, still recovering from his fight with sawyer. Even though it had been at least a day-it was hard to tell time down here-it could have been weeks since he'd been stuck in this hellhole for all he knew-his body still suffered the consequences of the fight.
He wanted to move on-to keep going deeper into the factory;but that meant leaving the toys vulnerable to the prototype. He knew logistically that the toys had been surviving down here for years without him-but now that he was here he felt responsible for them. They had all just been kids, kids forced to grow up far too fast in bodies that didn't truly belong to them. He needed to be the adult here. The real adult.
And maybe at first that had been out of guilt, but lately he had come to genuinely care for the toys. And while some of them still didn't fully trust him; Huggy and Mommy still regarded him with a cautious wariness despite the fact he'd managed to talk them down into not killing him and coming with him to the safe haven, he knew some of them genuinely viewed him as an escape from this place-a savior. An Angel so to speak.
An irony he saw in his own name.
So, despite knowing in order to put an end to all of this he would need to transverse deeper into the factory to put an end to the prototype, he found himself lingering at the safe haven still-going out and trying in vein to find any sort of food for the toys-something to leave them before he left for however long he was gone.
There were benefits to being human sized, and while he was by no means a small human, compared to the massive 'bigger bodied' toys he had an advantage in squeezing into smaller places-getting into areas where survivors of the hour of joy may have held up and where they may have had food.
His efforts today however-had been futile. The area was crawling with critters, who's minds were too far gone to be reasoned with-as much as Angel had tried. He didn't know if it was because of the Prototype or the fact that Sawyer was no longer around to scare them off. Regardless the only thing he'd been able to acquire during this run had been a cut on his arm and a bite on his ankle.
He grunted as he dropped down from the vent, wincing at the strain on his knees-he was get far too old for this. Alas the vents were one of the safest ways to travel, and one of the fastest ways to get to the entrance of the safe haven.
The doors were closed, as they always were nowadays, so he had to knock on them in the distinct way he and the other bigger bodies had discussed-there was a beat or two that passed before the heavy doors wretched their way open and he stumbled in.
Immediately dark lighting was replaced by the gentle glow of fairy lights, the grimy walls painted over with murals of children's drawings and writing. Inside it still smelled, but everywhere in their factory stunk. Showers would have to be the main priority when they got out of here.
If they got out of here.
A small weight of stress was lifted from his shoulders the moment he stepped foot into the Safe haven, and he immediately took the chance to take a seat on the ground right then and there-slipping off his GrabPack from his shoulders and groaning from the relief of the weight on his back.
A large shadow covered him and he glanced up to find Doey starring down at him, the large Toys hands were linked together nervously-the features carved into the dough on his face shifting to resemble concern.
"Angel? Are you alright?" He asked, the empty sockets of his molded in eyes seemed to scan over him-searching for any sign of injury. Angel was quick to wave him off.
"I'm fine bud, just did a lot more running and climbing then I would have liked." He sighed, standing up and brushing himself off. He offered what he hoped was a reassuring smile.
Doeys frown deepened on his face; "You were gone for a lot longer then you said you'd be-some of us were starting to get worried."
Angel waved him off; "There were a lot more critters out and about today-had to go the long way to avoid them."
Doey let out a slight noise at that, his concerned expression morphing into something a bit harsher-voice shifting tone and lowering an octave.
"You should let us go with you, It's getting more dangerous out there."
Angel picked up on the shift in tone in Doeys voice-he had read the tapes; he knew who Doey had once been before the experiments, and after spending more time around the bigger body he was starting to be able to pick up on the shifts in who was primarily in control at the time.
He hesitated for a second, before he gently placed a hand on Doeys arm-the play-dough esc clay he was made out of felt unnaturally warm at the touch, his fingers sinking slightly into the soft firmness of it.
"Hey, its alright. I can handle myself out there trust me. Plus; I feel a lot better having you guys be together in the haven where its safe."
Touch was a fickle subject between the toys-from him in particular at least. But thankfully Doey didn't flinch or pull away, instead his shoulders slumped just slightly and his expression shifted into something softer as he went back to wringing his large hands together.
"I know.....but still; it worries us when you leave for so long; it makes us think something happened to you...or that you've left on your own..."
Angel couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt at that, the idea of just leaving everything behind and escaping on his own had-in the worst moments-briefly entered his mind. But those thoughts had been quashed just as soon as he'd had them; the idea of abandoning these poor kids down here to a fate worse then death made him feel sick to his stomach.
He shifted to instead rest his hand over Doeys larger ones, stilling them in their anxious fiddling.
"Doey I'm not just gonna leave you guys here, I made a promise I'd get you guys out and I intend on keeping that promise."
Doey looked down at him, his face scrunched up slightly in a way that briefly made Angel wonder if he was going to cry-if he even could cry that is-but thankfully the moment passed and instead Doeys face broke out into a slight smile. He reached out and gently pet Angel a top the head with a large hand.
"Thanks bud...." He muttered, he gave Angel a once over and his expression shifted once more into concern.
"Maybe you should take a pit-stop over at the infirmary and get those wounds of yours cleaned up-I gotta mess around with the generator, come find me when your all rested up."
Angel gave a nod, reaching down he picked up his GrabPack by the straps and simply chose to drag it along the floor rather then go through the strenuous effort of picking it up and carrying it.
He made his way further into the safe haven, being sure to carefully avoid any of the little toys that skittered about. Over the past days...weeks, again he didn't know; that he'd been down here the little toys-the little ones as he called them-had slowly come to grow more comfortable with his presence. Some would even seek him out for comfort or games when Doey wasn't around.
Today he made a straight beeline towards the 'infirmary' which was really just a particularly large blanket fort where they kept all of their scrounged up medial supplies; stopping along the way to kick the ball into the goal just once at the little ones insistence (they liked watching him do tricks with the ball).
He was stopped just short of actually approaching the infirmary when he caught sight of who was currently inside; Kissy and Huggy were both curled inside the blanket fort-huddled close next to each other in some semblance of comfort. Yarnaby was sprawled out on his side at the two larger toys feet; the three large toys all crammed cuddled together in the comparatively small space.
Angel blinked a few times, before his expression softened at the sight. It was surreal to see Huggy-a toy who had initially hunted him down like a wild animal-look so calm and for the most part relaxed. He watched them for a moment longer before he turned and started to head away in the opposite direction.
Had it just been Kissy and Yarnaby maybe Angel would have gone over and settled with them;but him and Huggy were still in a rocky stage of trust so he didn't wanna risk the large toys ire....or risk getting swung at.
Instead he found his way over to an open pile of pillows cushioned up against the corner of a wall in front of a painted mural of the smiling critters all holding hands and smiling. He settled against the pillows, tilting his head back to rest against the wall.
God he was tired, the weight of everything baring down on him now that he wasn't currently pumped full of pure adrenaline. His body still ached reminding him of his current injuries; both new and old. He sighed, letting his eyes slip closed.
Maybe just a quick little nap couldn't hurt......

Angel woke up to the sound of screaming.
Immediately his eyes snapped open and he sat up, scrambling for his GrabPack. His mind was instantly flooded with the worst possible case scenarios; had the prototype broken in? Had one of the bigger bodies snapped again? Had the generator failed-where was Doey? Dogday? What had happened-
He anxiously spiraling thoughts were came to a quick halt when the scream that had ripped him away from sleep dissolved into a chorus of high pitched laughter.
Angel blinked, his body freezing mid panicked scramble as his mind rushed to catch up to what he was hearing. Laughter was a strange almost foreign sound to here down at this place; and for a moment Angel wondered if he was somehow still dreaming.
He wasn't; he came to find out, as he finally lifted his head to look out into the open area of the safe haven. Doey was there, arms spread out to make himself look as big as possible-a wide playful grin of his face as a bunch of little toys scattered away from him all laughing.
They....they were playing.
Angel let out a breath of relief, practically slumping against the wall behind him. They were just messing around, having fun. No one was hurt thank god.
He settled against the wall, smiling and chuckling to himself as he watched Doey take off after the scattering toys. Moving at a purposely slow pace to give the little ones a chance at getting away, stretching out his arms to make fake grabs for them; drawing out even more peals of laughter.
One of the little toys, a mini little Dogday, made a beeline in Angels direction. Giggling and breathless as they scrambled over, Angel watching them with a raised brow as the little one wedged themselves behind Angels back.
"What are you doing?" Angel asks, lifting an arm and twisting his body slightly to try and get a good look at the toy; who ducked further back behind him with a squeak.
"Hiding!" They giggled, and Angel felt his smile widened. The little toys joy was genuinely infectious.
"Oh? From who?" He asked, dropping his voice into a playful whisper, the little Dogday giggled.
"From the Monster!"
Angel let out a low hum, making a show of frantically looking around drawing more giggles from the toy.
"What Monster? Where?"
"There!" The little one laughed, and Angels smile widened.
"There......Oh! You mean right here!"
Carefully he reached behind himself with his other arm, gently snatching up the toy out from behind him; the little toys barely weighed as much as a weighted stuffed animal so it was easy to tuck the mini Dogday into one of his arms.
The tiny Dogday squeaked in surprise before they, to Angels relief that he hadn't scared the little guy, burst into a fresh round of giggles. Giddily squirming in his hold.
Angel chuckled, low and playful, before with an air of cautious gentleness he reached down with his free hand to gently wiggle his fingers into the toys plush tummy.
The effect was instant, the toys giggles shifted into full blow peals of happy laughter as they smacked uselessly at his hand with their plush paws. Angels eyes were squinted from how widely he was grinning, a consistent chuckle rumbling in his chest as he shifted from wiggling to gently scratching at the toys tummy.
He kept his touch gentle and his grip loose so the little one could escape at any point they got uncomfortable. To his delight however, the little one showed no signs of wanting to get away. Their laughter was high pitched and genuinely happy, and their squirming was halfhearted at best.
He was so immersed in the little game that he failed to notice the impending shadow looming over him, that is until he felt two large hands wrap around his middle and pull him up before yanking him back. The little Dogday tumbling from his arms and landing safely on the pile of pillows; still giggling.
He yelped in genuine surprise as he was unceremoniously left dangling in the air, looking down he found two familiar dough-formed hands wrapped around his middle seconds before he came face to face with Doey, who had a stern look on his face.
For a split second there was a moment of genuine fear, a reminder of just how strong these toys were and how quickly helpless Angel could become if they decided he was a threat that needed to be dealt with.
The fear was quickly squashed when Doeys stern look quickly morphed into a large grin, flashing sharp teeth as he spoke in a playfully low tone.
"Picking on someone smaller then you Angel? That's not very nice."
Angel blinked, before he huffed. "We were just playing Doey."
Doeys grin widened, his molded in eyes squinting with the size of it.
"Seemed more like bullying to me."
Angel yelped as he was shifted and turned around to face a gathering of little toys all giggling as they peered up at him, Angel blinked-feeling a bit like perhaps he was in danger.
"Alright guys, now what should we do with the bully?"
There was a chorus of giggling and mutters, before one of the little toys spoke up laughter in their voice.
"Eat him!"
Angel snorted while the little ones, including Doey, all giggled at the suggestion, Doey shook his head.
"Nah I don't think he'd be very tasty, he kinda stinks."
Angel let out a genuine noise of offense to that, it wasn't his fault he stunk, this whole factory smelled bad and it wasn't like there were any showers around. Sides he didn't smell that bad-
The little gathering of toys all seemed to muttered amongst each other, like a grand council deciding Angels fate-before one of them spoke up above the others.
"Tickle him!"
That suggestion quickly gained interest, the rest of the toys all quickly clambering to show their support at the idea. Angel blinked, feeling his stomach drop.
"Hey...Hey now wait a minute-"
"Great idea guys!" Doey grinned "Give him a taste of his own medicine!"
"Hey! Wait-Doey!" Angel sputtered as the large toy carefully started to lower him towards the ground and towards the mischievous swarm of awaiting toys. He felt a bit like he was being lowered into a pool filled with hungry piranhas.
As soon as he was on the ground, Doey shifting his hold to instead wrap around Angels arms instead of his middle, he was swarmed. The little toys clambered over top of him-poking and prodding anywhere they could reach with their little paws.
Angel jerked with a strangled yelp, a wide grin immediately found its way onto his face-breathy little chuckles and huffs of air leaving him as he tried his best to curl up and protect himself from the onslaught.
To be honest, it didn't really tickle all the much. His clothes were just thick enough that the toys plush hands couldn't do too much damage, it was mostly just the silliness of the situation and how genuinely happy the toys looked that drew laughter out of him-and he was fine with playing up his reaction for their sake. From behind him however, Doey took notice.
"Here guys let me help-"
From the arms keeping Angel held down-another set of small arms and hands formed from the dough-descending their way down and joining the other toys in their attack.
Angel actually jerked in surprise when he felt the bigger bodies fingers dig right under his arms, unlike the little toys softer plush paws-Doeys hands were bigger and firmer with actual fingers. In other words, now it actually did tickled.
His huffy chuckles quickly turned into full blow peals of laughter as Doeys fingers wiggled their way from under his arms and down to his ribs, Angels laughter getting more and more frantic the lower down he went.
"H-hehehey! Wait-C-Cohohome on guys!"
The little toys all seemed delighted by his reactions, giggling right alongside him as they continued to clamber over him-trying in their own way to get him to make more silly sounds.
From behind him Doey giggled. "Bullies get what bullies deserve~" he sing songed, Angel groaned through his laughter.
"Ihihihi wasnt-Ahahaha!"
He was cut off by his own laughter when Doey shifted one of his extra hands down to lift up his shirt, giving the little toys the ability to actually do some damage now that his shirt wasn't in the way-that combined with Doeys other hand still going to town on his ribs just about drove Angel up the wall.
He threw his head back as he cackled, forcing himself to stay completely still in fear if he started squirming he'd accidentally throw one of the toys off and hurt them. That and, well, it had been a long time since he'd actually laughed like this-especially since entering the factory. And more importantly, the toys looked genuinely just happy-like for a moment they could forget the horror of their situation and just be kids again. Something that warmed his heart to see, even if it was at his own expense.
He was so caught up in his own mirth he didn't even notice the sound of heavy footsteps approaching him until they came to a stop right at his side, he cracked open an eye and looked up to find Kissy standing over him. Her head cocked to the side.
For a second Angel thought she had come over to rescue him, she'd always been the most merciful of the bunch, but that hope was quickly crushed when she crouched down and reached out carefully with one of her large hands-wiggling it underneath his chin almost hesitantly.
He snorted, scrunching up his shoulders in a vein attempt to get away. Above him Kissy little out this little rumbling sound-her version of laughter is what he assumed.
A few more minutes passed before Doey finally took mercy on him, retracting his extra pair of hands and carefully lifting Angel up off the ground and out of reach of the little toys.
"Alright alright, I think he's had enough-we don't wanna kill our Angel after all."
A few of the little toys seemed disappointed that the game was over, but it didn't last long and soon enough they were all scrambling off to chase each other around-the playful high having not quite worn off just yet.
Angel hung limply in Doeys grip, he let out a little groan-still trying to catch his breath and quell his laughter. Doey chuckled and gave him a little shake.
"You alright bud?" He asked and Angel let out a slight grumble.
"After everything I've done for you guys....this is how you repay me..."
Doey let out a laugh which shook his frame, giving Angel another little shake.
"Don't be like that! It was all in good fun!....Sides..." Doeys tone dropped from something playful to something softer-more vulnerable
"It was...nice to get to see them all laugh like that....its...its been rough these past few days...."
Angel, as slightly grumpy as he was at the whole situation, softened immediately.
"Yeah, I know bud....I'm happy to see them happy too...even if it was at my own expense."
Doey laughed again gently setting Angel back onto his feet with a rough pat a top his head.
"Awww you have to admit! It was pretty fun!"
Angel would be admitting no such thing, he huffed brushing himself off and fixing his shirt which had rudely been un-tucked from his belt during the whole scuffle.
A large gentle hand on his shoulder made him pause, and he lifted his head to meet Kissy gaze, carefully she inclined her head over towards the infirmary where Huggy and Yarnaby still were-the former watching him with a look he couldn't quite read.
Angel offered Kissy a small smile. "I'm alright Kissy-I don't need to use the infirmary right now."
Kissys gentle touch on his shoulder became a bit more firm, as she gave him a slight push towards the infirmary. Doey chuckled.
"I don't think shes gonna take no for an answer there bud."
He allowed Kissy to guide him over towards the makeshift infirmary, his heart pounding slightly in his chest the closer they got to Huggy. The blue toy made no move as Kissy guided Angel to sit down amongst the pillows and blankets-Yarnaby immediately let out a soft chuffing noise-shifting to press his large head into Angels knee-Angel softened and gently ran his fingers through the toys yarn mane.
Angel let out a surprised sound when Kissy took a seat next to him, pretty much putting him stuck in between her and Huggy-he sent a nervous glance at the toy but Huggy for once didn't seem immediately aggressive at his presence-instead, to Angels genuine surprise, he shifted to lean slightly against Angels side with a soft rumbling noise. Like a large cats purr. From his other side Kissy did the same-leaving him truly trapped between the two toys.
Angel sat there for a moment, letting his brain fully process this-before he softened with a sigh. Allowing himself to lean into the warmth of the pillows and the toys around him, his shoulders dropping as he relaxed.
He wouldn't be able to rest here for very long, he still had so much work to do-so much ground to cover. But for now he could.
And when, when, they all got out of there. They'd be able to rest as much as they want...
Om.. Player getting in lee mood becuz Doey kinda tickled them accidentally while giving a hug, and a few minutes later the player very very Reluctantly asked for tickles from Doey- 1st time requesting!! 🎀
Player tickles Giblet with nuzzles and teases him. Giblet blushes hard and tries to cover his face in embarrassment. But Player doesn’t lets him and blows raspberries on his little belly while tickling his feet. Pretty please? Don’t forget to rest and drink water (I love your art so much by the way)
Man holy fucking hell lemme tell ya. When I saw the prototype’s canon design I was immediately bracing myself for the community to go absolutely feral. I mean, giant-ahh monster, and a jester to boot? Literally my first thought was “oh I know where this is going” lmao.
Now with that being said, oh my GOD dude I love absolutely everything about your AU take on the design. Its adorable, its creative, I love how you adapted all the little details (especially the catnap blanket; that’s brilliant) and managed to make him into such an absolute sweetheart.
15/10 would willingly get roped into fae shenanigans and tomfoolery just as an excuse to play with.

FUCK, I though it was just another lucky meme but LISTEN. Since a week ago I was waiting a phone call to confirm me if I got a job or not in my university. I reblogged this yesterday’s night “just for fun and because I don’t want any bagel to be mad with me”, and today’s afternoon, while I was losing my time as always, the professor I was supposed to work with called me and asked me for my personal information to start working with her.
