There is so much I wish I could say to @taylorswift. Like tell her about my son and tell her how he isn’t even two but he sings along to Delicate everytime we’re in the car. But mostly I want to thank her. I want to thank her for the music that gave me a hideout all the times I needed one. I want to thank her for debut that got me through being bullied in middle school. I want to thank her for the Speak Now Tour, the one I got to attend with my mom just weeks before beginning highschool. I want to thank her for being a constant. For RED, the saddest album she’s ever written, that came out right before my father took his own life. That album made me feel safe, when nothing else did. I want to thank her for 1989, it gave me the courage to leave someone who was horrible to me even though I hadn’t figure out love isn’t horrible. I want to thank her for reputation….the album that was released on my late father’s birthday. I used to spend that day in tears but now it’s a celebration. I want to thank her for being a writer, and inspiring me to continue being a writer, and for being true to herself, and for loving her fans, and for the shows that she puts on that are larger than life. I want to thank her for being with me from age 12 all the way up to age 22, with many more years to come.
