Rayati! You can refer to me as Moss (they/them). I usually say I'm a polytheist, as that is the simplest and easiest way to describe my beliefs, but I am primarily a Filianist! I intend to write something about the intersection of those two things at some point, and I'll update this when I do. Using this blog, I hope to help grow and contribute to the Filianic community, Déa willing! I'll be posting my own thoughts on Filianism and religion in general, and re-blogging things that I feel are appropriate.

Also worth mentioning is that I am VERY trans. Like, so incredibly transgender. Also overwhelmingly genderqueer and nonbinary. If trans people bother you, maybe don't interact? Thanks!!

Question for filianists and deanists: are the souls of humans considered female? What about for nonbinary people or males? Do you think this concept would cause possible dysphoria for transmen and AFAB nonbinary people?

I'm transmasc myself and this hasn't caused me dysphoria at all. Souls are considered feminine in the sense that they come from Dea and that kind of 'inherent' masculinity isn't seen as the opposite of divine in any way. Earthly (balanced) masculinity is simply a part of deanic femininity and believing our genders (that are tied to the material world) are connected to our spiritual or even mental state isn't a necessary part of filianism at all. Deanic femininity isn't the same as patriarchal femininity and patriarchal gender roles have no place in Deanism

I think one of the truly best aspects of Filianism are the Great/Planetary Janyati.

Like, you have Sai Candre, God as God of dreams and magic who is also Mistress of the Animals, the ancient, compassionate goddess who provides food for all creatures. Sai Sushuri, God as Love, the mistress of sex and beauty and joy. Sai Rhave, God as Death, creatrix of and deliverer from pain, the goddess of fierce aspect who enfolds us in her arms at the end of life and holds us safe until we are reborn. I could go on listing each Janya and Her qualities for ages. The point is there is a face of God for each aspect of our lives, all our struggles, all we see and experience.

Throughout my day I am constantly appealing to, invoking, encountering these varied aspects of God. The Janyati give me a language for conceptualizing a God who reflects all the diversity of creation while presiding over all and existing through all.

Weird question but I know a lot of us are neurodivergent and i was wondering if any of you have made a short prayer specifically related to that? I'm trying to write like a one sentence prayer or a short and longer version to help with those daily struggles specifically racing thoughts and adhd symptoms that I can repeat like stimming or echolalia but I want it to be perfect and nuanced if it's gonna be in my permanent mental rotation of sentences lol. And unfortunately I never think to go through with it until I need it most which is exactly what's stopping me from thinking clearly rn so I'm just wondering if anyone else has thought of something like that

I like to repeat "Hail, Sophia, full of Light." as it's a prayer I've repeated since childhood and can be replaced with Mari or Anna or another name. On the more Filianic side, I like to repeat some lines from scripture as mantras such as:

"She will do what she will do and Blessed is Her name." (Mythos 4:18)

"Hail, Princess of the World. Hail, Queen of Heaven." (Mythos 7:10)

"Love is perfect gnosis*, and gnosis is Perfect Love." (Crystal Tablet 51)

"She has conquered death and kear and brings me to Her conquest." (Secret of the World 17)

"I shall walk upon the world, but I am a child of Heaven." (Way of Simplicity 25)

"[The Lady] is my comfort in the darkness." (The Mantle 7)
