Chorus
Jolene (×4)
I’m begging of you please don’t take my man
Jolene (x4)
Please don’t take him just because you can
Verse One
Your beauty is beyond compare
With flaming locks of auburn hair
With ivory skin
And eyes of emerald green
For years our town’s been terrorised
By the beast who takes disguise
In the shell
That calls itself Jolene
Our sleep disturbed by quaking breath
Eyes closed against the thread of death
That lies behind
The teeth of that Jolene
The closer that you get to her
The more those edges seem to blur
To something that
Cannot be called Jolene
Chorus
Verse Two
Your teeth are sharp, your mouth agape
Your claws rend flesh, there’s no escape
From judgement of
The Eldritch One, Jolene
But I’ve seen beyond that auburn hair
My eyes have met your vacant stare
And I’ve been told
I’m hard to scare, Jolene
Chorus but it’s:
Jolene (x4)
I’m begging of you please don’t take my man
Jolene (x4)
I’ll end this story just how it began
I’ll take your teeth if you try to take my man
End.

My Opinion: THIS SHOW. HOLY SHIT! IT’S SO CUTE! As soon as I began to watch the first episode I couldn’t stop watching it. I like that this show the guy who falls for her isn’t because she’s your typical girl who worries about her typical physical appearance. He likes her for who she is and he likes her no matter what she did even if she was a weightlifter. Plus two of my husbands were in this show so this is a plus. I SOOO RECOMMEND YOU WATCH THIS. Please stop and take the time to watch this, you won’t regret it. I mean I am def going to rewatch this. Its makes me feel more lonely than I already am but I’m okay. But YESSS WATCH IT!

Madame Antonie: (First episode date): January 22,2016 (Final episode date): March 12, 2016 (16 episodes)
Genre: Romance film, Comedy
My Opinion: So I recently just finished watching this show and the only reason I watched it is because on Instagram I saw a mini clip that seemed to catch my attention. However this show was very different. I like the whole concept of it, of course it had romance included but it was a whole roller coaster ride with the couple in the show. You would be on the edge of your seat waiting whether the two will be together or not. BUT I recommend you all to watch this show! You won’t regret it!
My Rating: 9/10

Coincidentally, the name for his psychological treatment center is Madame Antoine.

Dream High 2: (First episodes date): January 30, 2012 (Final episodes): March 20, 2012 (16 episodes)
Genre: Musical, Teen film, Comedy, Drama, Romance Film
My Opinion: So the main reason why I decided to watch this show was due to Jaebum and Jinyoung’s appearance in the show however, I didn’t really like it. I mean I am not going to lie when I watched the show there were some scenes that did capture my attention but then eventually it got boring and I just watched it just to see what happened at the end. I mean the dance was eh, the acting could of been way better cause there were times that made you absolutely cringe but this is my opinion. I mean this isn’t a show I’m telling you all you have to watch. I truthfully think it was eh alright I guess. But if you guys check it out, let me know what you guys think.

Blade Man/Iron Man: (First Episode:) September 10, 2014 (Final Episode:) November 13, 2014 (18 Episodes)
Genre: Romance Film, Fantasy, Drama, Comedy
My Opinion: So I’m not going to lie, it took me a long time to watch this show. I started watching this series around December 2016 and it is now June 2017. Can you tell that I lost interest? I mean in the beginning it was interesting. It was different, so at first I was watching episode after episode but it’s just I just felt like the plot was going nowhere. Plus the chemistry in this show was terrible. They could of showed more interest to one another a lot more… Ah well it’s not fully bad.. But I wouldn’t really recommend anyone to watch it. But if you decide to take it upon yours hands and watch it, let me know what you guys think.

Legend of the Blue Sea: (First Episode:) November 16, 2016 (Final Episode:) January 25, 2017 (20 Episodes)
Genres: Comedy , Fantasy, Romance Film
My Opinion: I completed another k-drama yet again! And to be honest I enjoyed this series very much. One Lee Min-ho is one of my favorite Koreans actors so I was hyped to see he was staring at this show and the girl played perfectly for this role. However, I noticed many people giving it somewhat bad reviews saying this show is too predictable and how their chemistry isn’t there but to be honest it’s not that bad. I mean there was a time when things were a bit unexpected and they show more affection than half of the k-dramas I watched. So to be honest I totally recommend people to watch this and I would def rewatched this series all over again.
My Rating: 9.7

My Opinion: This kdrama was so cute. Honestly, this show was filled with unexpected twists and that’s what I like. I mean here comes a guy with different personalities and each personality has one hell of a character, my favorite was Shin Se Gi, he was like the badass but he was so hot like boiiiiii. I mean I like the plot and the guys were cute sooo GOOD SHOW.

Suspicious Partner: (First Episode:) May 10, 2017 (Final Episode:) July 13, 2017 (40 Episodes) *Only 30 minutes long each*
Genres: Comedy, Law, Romance, Investigation
My opinion: To be honest I don’t understand why this show had to be extra and have 40 episodes, they could have easily combined two shows into one and make less but okay. Anyways the show was cute and it did get me thinking. In the beginning, a crime happens and you begin to wonder who the hell can be the suspect, it goes on and throughout the show, I am not going to lie it pisses me off because of everything that happens. On top of that, the main character the girl plays hard to get with the guy and it gets frustrating. Anyways it was really good just the ending I felt was too dull. Could have had a better ending in my opinion.

She Was Pretty: (First Episode:) September 16, 2015 (Final Episode:) November 11, 2015 (16 Episodes)
Genres: Comedy, Romance, Drama
My opinion: I’ve seen plenty of k-dramas that have pissed me off before but this was one of the top ones. I mean I’m not saying I didn’t like it but the way everything happens in the beginning will trigger you. The main character can’t confront her first love because she thinks she’s too ugly so she sends her best friend. Just from that you already know that cries trouble. Although it may have pissed me off I have to say that this was a really good show, there might be some cringy scenes but hey it’s a drama what do I expect? Hwarang: (First Episode:) December 19, 2016 (Final Episode:) February 21, 2017 (20 Episodes)
Genres: Friendship, Historical, Comedy, Romance, Youth,
My Opinion: To be honest I liked the whole concept of the show. I mean the show consisted of romance but also friendship. I shipped the two main characters that end up together at the end but I also liked the friendship between the king and dogbird. I hated the fact that they became enemies at some point but they got over it and at the end became friends. It’s rare to say this but this is one of the very few shows that has a cute ending… Ha I couldn’t stop smiling but yeah.. I like the show and I would recommend anyone to watch it, trust me you won’t regret it! Most watch it because V (Taehyung) from BTS and Minho from shinee are in the show but trust me the show is good overall so take my word and check it out for yourself.
My Rating: 9.8/10

To The Beautiful You: (First Episode:) August 15, 2012 (Last Episode:) October 4,2015 (16 Episodes)
Genres: Comedy, Romance, School, Youth, Drama, Sports
My Opinion: Okay the show wasn’t bad. I mean there were parts that I personally feel like could have improved but hey it’s just minor tweaks like the relationship between the main characters and how situations turned out. Anyways overall I liked that the main character not only happened to have a love interest she also made cute friendships throughout the show. I only wish that the relationship between the main character would have been confirmed or something. I don’t know I feel like there was something lacking but I can’t seem to wrap my finger around it… But I would totally recommend this show because it was cute, a bit cringy but cute.
My Rating: 8/10

Shiver Me Timbers - Notes on running a pirate-themed campaign
Hullo, Gentle Readers. Oh, wait…excuse me. For this article, I feel I ought to change voices…
Ahem…
Ahoy, maties! So ye come seekin’ adventure and salty old pirates, do ye? Well, keep a weather eye out fer trouble, or ye’ll find herself keel-hauled faster'n ye c'n say Davy Jones’ Locker. And remember, ye scurvy swabs…dead men tell no tales.
This article was inspired by a question from ofcabbagesanddice, who is running a pirate campaign for three family members and who wanted some advice. I gave a short answer back then, but I promised a longer one, and here it is. When running a pirate-themed campaign, there are certain constraints to work around, but certain benefits as well. I’ll try to offer advice to limit the former while enhancing the latter.
In any campaign concept, my first questions are what the setting will be like and what the story will be. For my Amanar game, for example, I knew it was going to be a world-hopping Spelljammer-influenced game which would ultimately culminate in a war in the Underdark against an elder brain lich.
For a pirate game, you have a lot of leeway in your stories, as long as they relate to the theme of piracy and the desires of the players. You’ll want to have a Session Zero, of course, and get the sense of what the players want. Are they pirates with hearts of gold? Jolly swashbucklers? Grim privateers? A floating hive of scum and villainy? You want to cater the story to what your players want to be. If they want to be privateers, maybe their ultimate goal is to destroy a kraken that has been harrying their country’s ships through its minions. If they want to be evil buccaneers, maybe their goal is to pillage the royal treasury, or slay a good dragon and take its legendary hoard.
Setting has two levels in a pirate game. You need to ask yourself two questions: what is the nature of the ship or ships the players sail on, and what’s the nature of the area they’re sailing around?
The ship can be an NPC for the campaign all on its own. Think of the Millennium Falcon; she may not look like much, but she has it where it counts. Maybe the players are on a former Orcish slaving ship, haunted by the ghosts of the slaves who died aboard it. Maybe they’ve stolen a graceful elvish swan ship - it’s fast and maneuverable, but it makes them a target of the entire elvish navy. Their ship could even be sentient - in my Amanar game, the spelljamming vessel the players had was powered by a childlike entity that could speak to them telepathically. Threats to their ship became much more emotional, because they developed a bond with her.
The region the players sail through is going to have a lot of influence on the flavor of the campaign as well. If you’re trying to simulate the golden age of piracy, you might want to have a setting much like the Caribbean in the 1600s. There’d be a mixture of islands and cities along the mainland, and multiple cultures with colonies there, each with their own interests, viewing for supremacy in the region. Another interesting setting might be a vast archipelago, full of cultures and dangers, or an inland sea that’s hotly contested by different countries.
Pirate campaigns also have a built-in group of recurring NPCs - the crew of the players’ ship. Since these people will be with the players for possibly their entire piratical career, it’s worth taking some time to develop who these folks are, including any hidden agendas they might have. Is the ship’s cook a cranky old gnome who always makes the food too spicy? Maybe the crew-member who always works in the rigging in a halfling who used to work in a circus? If the ship’s navigator once served in the crew of the pirate ship Stormdancer, could he be leading the ship to a hidden treasure, or embroiling them in a war of revenge against his former captain?
If you’re dealing with a setting that features various countries working counter to one another interests, you’ve got a built in mechanism for conflict. Maybe a hobgoblin warlord is willing to pay the players well to harry the ships of the dwarven fleet, or maybe a nation of Dragonborn are fighting a nation of humans, and the players can become privateers for either side. This still gives plenty of opportunities for political intrigue, especially if the players try to play both sides.
A perusal through the Monster Manual shows that there are plenty of wonderful aquatic monsters to use as adversaries. From simple sharks to raiding sahuagin all the way up to the mighty kraken, there are challenges for many levels. And as I mentioned in my previous suggestion on this subject, you can always convert monsters into aquatic versions. Aquatic trolls, hobgoblins, and ghouls are all part of D&D’s long history.
Don’t forget that, since D&D is a fantasy setting, your stories aren’t limited in ways that historical pirates are. Your pirates could explore undersea ruins, or teach their ships to fly in the sky to attack cloud giant fortresses. They could battle frost giant longboats or mind flayer nautiloids. They could trade with locathah merchants or deal with cults devoted to mad sea gods. They could even sail on the endless seas of the Elemental Plane of Water, the vibrant oceans of the Feywild, the dark seas of the Shadowfell, or along the Styx into the Abyss or the Nine Hells!
I hope this has inspired you to consider running a waterborne campaign. For further reading, there’s an older Unearthed Arcana article about Waterborne Adventures, which offers race and class options that would be very useful in such a storyline. Set sail, and let the adventure begin!

Bosses be like “the fact that you clock out on time and refuse to come into work early or on your days off shows you’re not committed to the job :/”
wow … she said/did that
“It’s not our job to shape them into the people we think they should be,” says Fox. “It’s our job to receive, with grace, the lessons they bring us.“
wow queen
I do relate to Gollum too, because I feel like, I don’t know…everybody does but I think many of us feel like we’re not worthy or good no matter what we do and um, we’re trying to find redemption or we’re trying to make right or do right. And he [Gollum] tries. Unsuccessfully, but he tries. […] I think I - you know, moments that I can think clearly…I think that nobody is perfect. None of us are, that’s just a construct. We’re doing the best we can. We can inspire each other to do better. I try to be forgiving of myself and everybody as much as I can. Between The Sheets: Liam O'Brien
