What is almost certainly happening with Tumblr’s image classifier is that they’ve deployed the bot entirely untrained, and are relying on user complaints to train it what NSFW content on tumblr looks like.

Making people participate in their own censorship in this way and punishing them with the threat of being silenced even if in compliance with the rules should they not participate, is, IMHO, abuse of their userbase.

Source: I’ve worked for three different top-five social networks, and at all of them this type of work would have been done by making the userbase do it as much as possible.

Please signal boost. I don’t care if you reblog or repost, just get the word out so that people know what they’re doing as they interect with this thing.

How? I’m pretty damn sure those legs would hurt if you shove one up your arse or up ya vagina, Regardless if you use a bathtub worth of lube that shits gonna hurt one hole or another. Iv lost count how many times iv clicked the buttons above this post to say “this post isnt sensitive” to not only on this persons (@miniatureworldpainter i know for sure another two of yours such as the weird pink chair is marked as sensitive too.)blog but of so many others as well.

I know many people have seen this sort of post from others but im gonna make this post continue with screenshots of other peoples pages that have this issue and i will tag the profile as well so you all know what post your looking for and dont have to go through one post at a time. Because this is a headache.

I get this alot through my newsfeed and i am marking all your posts as non sensitive! But it doesnt seem to do a damn thing. So hopefully me bringing this up (so long as thia doesnt get marked up as “sensitive”) might help bring the issue to light more.

How the hell is your coding and algorithm working? What exactly is it that flags these things up as unsuitable content? Cause im not the only one on this site wishing to know. Because it is rather clear you haven’t set it up to correctly identify and recognise bugger all that it is you’re wishing to get rid of. It appears as if you are just leaving it to the coding and us users to sort it out rather than actually going through this all one by one with human eyes.
