GDCG Hiatus of 1-2 months
Here's the KKP announcement :
"Hello, this is Baek Deoksu, writer of 'Even if I fall into a ghost story, I still have to go to work'. During a recent health check-up, abnormal findings were discovered, and I was diagnosed with need for surgery. As the surgery has been scheduled at a tertiary hospital, I have been forced to take an urgent hiatus starting this week. I am deeply sorry to have to deliver this news so soon after part 3 began. Including the recovery period following the surgery. it appears I will be able to return to serialization after a hiatus of about a month and a half to two months. A detailed return schedule will be provided later. I am very disappointed and sorry. I will do my best to recover my health and write the manuscript well."
Ok so tertiary hospital, that's serious stuff.
For example there's not a single tertiary hospital in Jeju. Even in Seoul there's only a handful. It's the biggest of the big hospitals.
How it works is, you first go to your local hospital (lv1, lv2) and then if the doctor says it's too serious to deal with here, you get upgraded to tertiary (lv3). You can't directly go to tertiary, you can only go if the local hospital doctor says you should.
Here's hoping the surgery goes well and BDS returns to full health without any issues 🙏
Wishing Baek Deoksu the best, these things are uncontrollable so it's good to take a break and feed the body what it needs. I hope they take the full two months, it's better to be slower during healing. No need to rush things, we are all plenty satisfied and thankful for what we've been given. Each episode is a thing of love. Heal well!
