alright I’m making a shitty coining post because I don’t have flags but I’m tired of this not existing

intra[x] - not engaging with and/or desiring [x] with anyone outside of one’s own system.

labels that use this would be intrasexual, intraromantic, intraplatonic, intrafamilial, intralove, etc etc. you understand.

I’ve seen many systems - including our own - who are aspec, but have the exception of their own headmates. I thought perhaps having a word for this would be useful.

also, note:

anyone can use these terms. I don’t care about origin, if you’re questioning, if you even use the label “system” - if it resonates, feel free to use it. we used the word system in the definition for simplicity, but anyone who resonates (even singlets? not sure how that’d work but I don’t judge) can use it. hi polyminds!

the and/or was very intentional. you can engage in sex out of sys but still only feel sexual attraction to headmates, and you can feel sexual attraction towards those out of sys but only have sex with headmates, and you can feel sexual attraction & have sex with only your headmates. All of these experiences fall under this umbrella. I want this to be as inclusive as I could reasonably make it.

we finally found a pretty decent looking deltarune chapter 5 playthrough. i think we will be starting to watch it tomorrow. it is 11 hrs though so... it'll be a while before we finish it. please no spoilers until we post that we've watched the whole thing. i also slightly suspect we may get utdr kinshifts due to it. we shall see. if we do it will be a bit funny since last summer, we ALSO were in a big undyne/alphys kinshift.

I am Chevy/Crowfeather! As much as I am Jasper/Mothwing. Crowfeather and the prior Mothwing merged together to form me, who is basically both of them smooshed together lmaoo.

Neither of the two were very uh... stable lately. And merging to become me was the way our brain made there be more stablility! It was happening without intention, but once they realized what was happening, they accepted it and became me!

I am much more stable and happy than either of them were solo, and now I have TWICE the gay for Leafpool!! Also I can drive without horrific anxiety now, that's the second best part 🤣

So, TLDR, Crowfeather is still here in me, but I am a singular headmate now and it's just me and Leafpool now! This is a positive thing for me and my past two halves and it seems fairly stable and permanent. Neither part is gone, as I've gotten traits from both of them, despite using mostly Mothwing's names-

last night of pride announcement: i am an aroace lesbian. i think we might of mentioned this at some point? but i identify more with aroace than mothwing does.

i have zero romantic or sexual attraction. mothwing is not an exception to this. my love for mothwing is something else entirely. she is my everything in a way i cannot explain to someone who's not also a partnered aroace. maybe someone like that could understand?

and i can only see myself partnering myself with women, or fem aligned people. hence why lesbian feels correct to me. despite me being aroace. and not a woman. but it feels right.

this means both me and mothwing are lesbians, in very interesting ways. i am an aroace lesbian, and mothwing is a butch lesbian, which she sees as both a sexuality AND gender identity.

so... yeah. new label for me i suppose. or... newly reconfirmed label.
