I kind of miss living in an apartment complex.
When I'd sit alone in my loundgeroom and I couldn't shake away the presence of strangers. The idea of someone hearing me walk around my open, the mild fear of someone noticing i'm there, above or below.
Now I can count every heartbeat in the house, I know where they sleep, i know when they notice me, hear them greet me.
I know that where I sit, in my new loundgeroom, I am most definitely alone.
Unless someones snuck their way under my floorboards, afriad I just might notice they’re there too.
