Grief, it comes like waves. You're standing in the middle of the ocean. Maybe not that far and deep where you will not drown but not too close from where you came from. And there's a huge wave coming and you just stand there, letting the wave wash over you. It is overwhelming and you cough a few times because you accidentally swallowed some water but you remain standing. A few minutes later, another wave comes. this time, you try to dodge by jumping, to flow with the wave. You didn't let it wash over you. you remain standing. A few minutes later, another wave is coming. It's small this time so you didn't bother to dodge by jumping. You let the water hit you but it didn't wash you away. You soon learn that waves come in specific time intervals so you start to predict correctly on when the waves will come. ever since that, you are able to dodge the waves. You no longer get washed over by the waves. A few minutes later, the waves didn't come. Assumingly, the waves are finally over, so you swim around to enjoy the water. Suddenly, a huge wave comes again. You aren't aware because you are too busy having fun until you feel it wash over you and even almost drown from it. You start crying because you should've known that the waves aren't gone.

Whoops. So proud of them. Although some Filipino fans are not happy. And I kind of get it. Some fans from here doesn't really care about the director or what issues are surrounding the casts. They only care about Harry. I'm sure a lot of his fans are still going to go see it.

I know Filipino fans are a tiny portion of his fandom, but the fact that even some of his fans here are boycotting the movie is telling you something. This is the first time I've ever heard of this happening. And they don't usually care about issues like this.

Wow. I’m proud of them, too. Fans need to stand up when things go too far. Good will only lasts for so long.

Presenting a M/M couple as milf/dilf or mom/dad is perpetuating the exact binary stereotypes that Harry argues against. Harry has acknowledged being called daddy/father and momrry. Louis has acknowledged being called milf and dilf. But you choose the ones you're most comfortable assigning them, fitting their relationship in a het mold where it's a simple masc/fem or male/female binary. It doesnt and will never fit in that mold.

this entire argument is predicated on the idea that masc/fem and/or male/female relationships cannot be queer and are "simple" which is determinedly untrue

your claim that my way of speaking about harry is heteronormative rests upon the gender binary and the ignorance of multi gender attraction

the whole premise of our fandom relies on deductions made from harry and louis's art and their queer signaling

harry has gone out of his way to align himself with motherhood, gender queerness, and femininity

louis has not, although he HAS gone out of his way to support and love gender queerness and trans people

i would never say you cannot call louis a milf for fun or you aren't allowed to say harry looks like a golf dad

but it is different when you are trying to overlay or rob from them identities they have signaled to us time and again. when you do that, you do something similar to those fans who dismiss their queerness on the whole by calling them straight
