I've ended up on the dragon puppeteering side of youtube on accident and I have to say- it's an oversaturated market. there are so many amazing talented artists of course, but I can see the community slowly running out of content to make- there's only so many audios they can dragon-lipsync and duet before it all blends into each other and becomes the same

I've seen so many posts lately like "trans men have got to get more feminine" and it's lowkey pissing me off because we haven't even normalized trans men being masculine yet. Have you not been paying attention to trans men when they talk about being kicked out of LGBT spaces for "appearing too cishet" like can we lock in and understand that sexuality and oftentimes gender aren't something you can visually tell before we start trying to normalize something that's already normalized

I agree with both sides here- I think we need to normalize both. Trans men can be "cishet passing". Trans men can look like women. Trans men can be androgynous, they can be masculine or feminine, they can be however they want.

It's important to acknowledge that both A- they are allowed to appear however they want, and B- that includes seeming "not queer enough" for queer spaces.

I'm the closest possible thing to being diagnosed without actually being diagnosed, in that an autistic person with a special interest in autism and neurology straight up told me I was autistic and then went over the diagnostic criteria/assessment question thing from the DSM-5 with me when I didn't believe them

anyways Spotify has also done this. it's given me audiobooks about Gay, unmasking your autism, and the trans male experience (I've never listened to any audiobooks ever and it's somehow clocked me as queer and a trans man specifically????)

my friend is being wrong about neopronouns blehhhhh (I have a lot of interest in identity/sense of self so I know a lot about neopronouns, xenogenders, etc)

psa, it/its is not a neopronoun set???? my friend's argument is that it/its isn't typically used for a person and is therefore a neopronoun, but neopronouns, literally meaning "new pronouns", are new, more intentionally invented sets a language doesn't already possess

I cant tell why but I've always felt that the white/camo/chameleon lizards are the smartest kind. one time a white lizard and I were both hiding from a vulture and we both waited the exact same amount of time after it left before moving. might be something about the ambush-predator thing as well. green lizards are idiots, cyans are acrobatic idiots, pink lizards are the base lizard, blue lizards are basically dogs, oranges are the one everyone forgets so they're just normal, salamanders are slimy idiots, mole/black lizards are standard intelligence- reds might be smarter than the standard lizard??? but I feel like they're more similar to greens, and plus, there has to be SOME drawback to their physical strength/speed/abilities and that should be intelligence imo

no diss to the other lizards though, my favorite is the blue lizard

longwinded theory here about vultures and scavs.

vultures have masks in this particular shape, with two eye holes and these mandibles. when a vulture's mask is knocked off, other vultures will attack it.

I believe that the masks are some sort of identification system for vultures, to know what creatures are also vultures so they can attack other things, and that's why they attack unmasked vultures.

scavengers have very similar face shapes, round with two eyes and mandibles at the bottom. I believe that either scavengers evolved to look similar to vulture masks in order to try to trick the vultures into not attacking them, or they made masks to wear to more intentionally trick vultures. this would also be why they value vulture masks and king vulture masks so highly- because they can deter vulture attacks
