Her name is Amélie but I might change it as I seem to do. I bought her secondhand from Den of Angels about 8 years ago. I normally don't buy realistic SD heads but her face up by Echo Undine was so eerily gorgeous I could not not get her. I didn't have any plans but I did have this Maskcat bust for another head and she just look perfect on it so it became hers.

She's wearing a necklace which was one of my first purchases when I started this hobby over 20 years ago. The wig came styled with the braid but I did cut it. The bow is a bow I got for myself when I was trying to figure out my personal style but decided it looked better on her.

Some miscellaneous doll photos! I redressed Juni, so obviously I had to take a picture of him. I hope I can encourage myself to take photos of him outside before the summer ends! This feels like such a cute, summery outfit! My La Luna Doll Nekomame also came in! I’m so excited! I got her to be a counterpart to Juni, since they’re both cat and dog themed smiley sculpts! Juni is on the Slim 1/4 DF-H Boy Body and she’ll be on the Girl version! I also bought a Muhan’s Doll Shark secondhand! I plan on redoing his faceup and giving him a unibrow ^_^! Hopefully I can encourage myself to work on him this weekend!

i've been chipping away at this robot bunny sculpt for a long time, and she is DONE. because of the complex claws & head i had to print her around 55cm tall, and i'm so glad i did. being big makes her so compelling.

[here's a post showcasing the head prototype, because i didn't really play with the modularity of it in these photos. i edited the sculpt a bit for the finished version, but it's essentially the same still.]

I ordered a black and white long wig and went to cutting it today ;U; I wanted to get a asymetric chunky look like my self made wig. It's not perfect but it works? I want to try see if I can get it to be spikier with styling...And maybe remove a bit more volume from it somehow. Also sewed in 2 red strands myself to get even closer to my self made wig ;U;

Hey uh, I don't like making call-out-type posts, but I feel like I need to say something and warn people.

Maybe don't join the new up-and-coming BJD forum called Resin Grove.

I know it looks really promising, I fell for it too, but not only do they use genAI for coding (and probably other things), the husband of the creating duo is very pro-AI and super MAGA. Apparently the wife/main creator is "apolitical", but yeah.

Be careful guys. I know we're searching for a DOA replacement, but this is not the one.

Just my (not so) small collection of Wataru now. Wataru holds a special place in my heart so I actually don't go out of my way to get as many Wataru dolls as I can unless I have a need for saving one. Ever since getting my pretty minty 3rd Wataru I feel like I've hit my limit but seeing such a damaged and broken Wataru kind of broke me from that.

Since I've named all my other Wataru dolls (asides from my first), I'm gonna name my newest one Hikaru since I do think he's the most bright and summery of the group. So Wataru, Masaru, Yamaru welcome their newest brother: Hikaru...
