Mike Chilton x Reader: General relationship headcannons
— I imagine you guys would meet as a victim of Abraham Cane/Deluxe tech
— After a bad wreckage of debris and paused purr of engines, as you crumbled up you find a kind, welcoming hand bringing you up to your feet
— He would be understanding and kind, and small talk would be initiated if you were willing too
“That was a nasty fall, ‘you alright though?”
“You should keep it easy for a while. You wouldn’t accidentally injure yourself?”
— Then you follow the crowd of ex- deluxe’s to Motorcity. You end up fitting in a lot better then you ever did in Deluxe
— Less rules, no mandatory suits, no nothing
— Then you two would end up bumping into each other again at Antonio’s or some other place.
— He’d remembered you! He buys you a drink and asks how things have been ever since you arrived to Motorcity. Assuming you’ve come alone or working; there he would invite you to have a seat with the other Burners.
— But if you couldn’t stay any longer he’d offer his number to you or ask for your digits.
— at the end of the day, he’d ring you up hoping you weren’t still busy at the time. You guys got to know eachother more deeply: Where you came from, Banter, what your favourite colour was and even hypothetical questions!
— When you guys get closer he’d invite you to hang out with him/or with the Burners. Since he wouldn’t see a reason why not to at this point of your guys friendship.
— if he’d start to catch feeling for you Mike would start leaving tiny hints for example, having drives in Mutt (though I think that a pretty big hint— since you only ever see Chuck in the same car with Mike lol), making more time for you if you want to hang out with him, and all other sorts
— He would eventually ask you out if you feel the same with him, he’ll been over the moon! Giddy, Ecstatic and optimistic.
— Mike would take you on dates to Antonio’s a lot, probably tons of personal attention and cuddling with him. Putting his arm around you lotta hugs, hand holding, the affectionate type.
— if you don’t like physical contact, then that’s okay! He’s more than happy to show his love in words of affirmations and Gift give. All he ever wants is for you to love him too.
