Sad to see Alex and KMag retire :( really thought bro was gonna crash out half the grid 😀 but good GP, sorry for Daniel fans though. Esp after yesterday. BUT I personally LOVE Liam Lawson and am so glad he'll have a chance to prove himself again, last year he was so looked over tbh.

I swear the whole race I was just praying for good luck and Alex to get points and a driver I liked to win (Charles, Lando, Oscar, George) but THEN Charles FIRST and he maintains and Oscar crept up but not enough and it's been five years since the last time he won here and it was the best GP this season you cannot change my mind I LOVE MY COUNTRY 🔛🔝

Nationalism aside, the race was legit interesting. I WAS SO SAD to hear Logan was dropped but I understand he wasn't like doing so well and sometimes you have to make hard decisions. I think James Vowles handled it a bit weirdly, like posting the announcement about Franco before then one about Logan, but oh well. Hopefully he finds peace in another racing category. Franco did actually suprisingly well today, so good for him. ALEX ALBON 2 POINTS THE GOAT!

I legit was crying I love Monza.

OMG OMG OMG

LANDO WON! LANDO HAS LANDED AGAIN! AND THIS TIME I ACTUALLY GOT TO SEE IT!

On my TV, but a win is a win alright!

And a win it was! Damn, he won by twenty two fucking seconds! Anyone else got deja vu from Max last season? 😰 TBH Lando domination could bore others but NOT ME! I've been waiting five years for this guy to win a GP, and the first time I couldn't see it bc of time zones, but finally I could stare at my screen with tears in my eyes as he crossed the finish line!

Also great podium for Charles! Hopefully he can do more at Monza 'cause I want a Ferrari win in Monza again soon 🤞

Hoping also that Kimi Antonelli's first FP1 in F1 goes well because I can't wait until he joins F1 and finally an Italian will be on the grid, and an amazing WDC material one at that!

Jack Doohan!

With his agreement, Alpine are gonna have Jack driving for them next year!

Good for him, I think both him and Pierre will be good for Alpine next year, especially since they'll probably fight less.

Can't wait to see him out on track officially as an F1 driver!

Summer break!

Got to watch only half of spa BUT I feel so bad for George :( I was really hoping he'd get the win since he worked so hard this time, and gen was able to keep Lewis at bay for so long, but Merc of had to mess up. Good for Lewis tho, and we got a Ferrari podium finally!

Also, yes, the driver market is going crazy rn.

Personally, I DID NOT see Carlos coming. I'm happy I guess that he's got a seat, but tbh he isn't one I'm so interested on. I'm definitely confused, though, because it would've been better if they put Kimi Antonelli (Italian rookie F2 driver, has 2 wins so far, and skipped F3) in a Williams and Carlos in a Merc so that Kimi wasn't rushed too much, as we've seen with Logan. But, since Merc has an amazing car recently, I am happy for an Italian to have a seat and potentially a good career ahead of him. But Kimi himself said recently that he doesn't want to rush into F1, so does this mean he's looking to complete another F2 season? That would make sense, tbh.

I've been trying to predict the seats, but honestly it is WAY harder than I imagined. I'm hoping Valtteri and Zhou still have seats for next year, but it's probable that Valtteri will not, honestly, and I hate it :(

I think Sauber hasn't chosen them yet because they want to wait until the end of the season and see if any of them score points, probably. Also, I am PRAYING that Liam Lawson gets that RB seat. He deserves it so much since his performance last season clearly showed, and no offense to DR fans, but he isn't getting back to where he was. Yuki is constantly performing better, and people NEED to stop sleeping on Yuki just because Daniel has a dream. He's a great guy, but personally, that's what I think.

Then, in the alpine seat I'm hoping for either Mick Schumacher or Jack Doohan, I think they would fare well. Everyone calls Alpine a tractor but tbh they have improved since the start of the year and are mid field - slightly upper mid field every race.

Now, we can enjoy summer break without hopefully having to worry about anymore seats surprises and potential heartbreaks!

Can't wait for Zandvoort!

WHAT THE HELL OSCAR!!!!

HE'S A RACE WINNER! IN HIS SECOND SEASON! OSCAR PIASTRI YOU ABSOLUTE GOAT!

I'm extremely happy for him, can't believe it's only been a year and a half of watching him race in F1. And yes, I know he won that sprint last year, but let's face it a grand prix win is so much more important!

Onto a sadder note,

McLaren what the actual fuck.

Anyone who says Lando had no right to be mad, I disagree, and here's why:

McLaren at the start of the race told both drivers they wanted to keep the order as is, with Oscar in front. But, when they began pitting, they pit Lando first. Now, they were undercutting (correct me if I'm wrong;) and usually you would pit the driver in front first, and then the slower one, to keep the order. I don't know frankly what McLaren thought would happen, but obviously Lando came out first, with Oscar literally 6 secondsbehind him! Of course, they told Lando to slow down and let Oscar pass, but

a) Lando is a racing driver, he obviously wanted to stay first, especially since he's had a first taste of a win.

b) They pitted him first by their own fault, so it wasn't even his fault he ended up in front

c) Oscar was six seconds behind, putting also Lando at risk if he slowed down and gave him the position, with Lewis right on his tail.

Even more, McLaren started legit guilt-tripping Lando when he wouldn't slow down, because they wanted to give Oscar his first win. Notably,

WJ: “Lando, still 21 laps after this one. You do have the current fastest lap, look after the tyres.”

(trying to insinuate to slow down, to let Oscar come close.)

WJ: “We need to save more tyres please, and we do want to let Oscar through.”

LN: “Well you should have boxed him first then, surely no?”

WJ: “Doesn’t matter.”

LN: “I mean, it does. To me maybe.”

(Again, asked him to slow down, which Lando replied to justly, because who wouldn't be upset from a team mistake, which doesn't benefit you? Yes, they're a team, but it must be frustrating that your team fucked up their own decision.)

WJ: “And Lando, there are five laps to go. The way to win a championship is not by yourself, it’s with the team. You’re going to need Oscar, and you’re going to need the team.”

(🤨 I was honestly weirded out by this. I get it, but cmon, McLaren knew what they were doing pitting him first! His frustration is understandable in my opinion, and the whole time McLaren were just playing the both of them, while Oscar literally apologized for winning😭)

OP: “Yep, thank you, everyone. Thank you very much. Thanks for the coordination. Sorry, I made the swap a little bit more painful than it needed to be."

(Poor guy 😭 but anyways, hopefully this doesn't happen again!)

ON TO OTHER THOUGHTS!

Great again for Osc! And tbh I found the comeback of 2021 Max and Lewis 💀 Guys let's be fr I love Max but that move was crazyyyy! Also, GP calling him childish was hilarious 😭 I have a feeling that RedBull overall have been very jittery and daring these past few years because they've realised there is fair competition now, and are scared to lose both the WDC and WCC.

Interesting though, definitely one of the most interesting in terms of all field battles! Poor Pierre who had to retire early and miss out though!

QUESTION: Do we think Esteban is seriousyl going to Haas now??? I've heard Carlos is still engaging with Mercedes, too!

I'm only hoping that Zhou and Valtteri have seats next year 😖

Can't wait for Spa, one of my favorite tracks!

Wow.

Ok um… My bad I didn't write after the Austrian GP but I was distraught after it. Great race, and good for George, although I think people kind of blew out the win, no offense, but he did win out of luck, which is good for him though anyways. In my opinion, even though I am biased towards Lando, I'll try and be fair, Max was more at fault. I think Lando is still getting the hang of fighting Max for first, and he is very thirsty for more wins after Miami. But, Max made him go wide, and overall wasn't driving fair, more dirty. Idk why people are surprised to be honest, especially since we've all seen the 2021 season. Max can be ruthless sometimes, and even with Lewis he made some dirty moves almost every race, so it's no surprise he always resorts to those at the end of the day. Sadly, Lando was the one to suffer and Max got to score points anyways. If you think otherwise, please comment! I'm no expert so I love hearing other perspectives.

Moving on to Sliverstone, good for Lewis!

Again, as a Lando fan I'm fairly angry at McLaren for that pitstop. I'm sorry, why the fuck were they asking him about the tires right when he entered the pits? As I saw, Lewis pitted at least a lap in front of him, so they had plenty of time to ask him before, and I don't think it was a mystery which tire Lewis was on. Nevertheless, he got third, and I'm not sad that Lewis won! It was very sweet watching him and his parents, and I'm sure he's happy winning his home race in his last year with Merc. Good on them. Poor George, who retired. Gasly I won't even ask what thousand problems he had.

As a Ferrari fan, I will ignore Charles' result. Fuck you Ferrari, Martin Brundle even said it must be like driving a F3 car for him 😭.

Silverstone was definitely one of the most interesting ones yet. The fighting got me glued to my screen and the mere chaos brought by the rain. Hoping for another interesting race in Hungary!

Spanish GP

Wow. First off, damn George didn't know you had that in you! I'm not a big fan of Mercedes, but gotta give him credit for that start. Literally dove in front of Lando and Max. I will say, I genuinely believed Lando would win 😮‍💨 but hey, those last few laps were incredible! And at least now he's second in the championship, am I right? That's one step closer to champion, baby!

As a Ferrari fan though I will be ignoring our current situation. This GP just didn't happen for them 🤠.

Congrats to Lewis, even though I might be very tempted to throw a tantrum over his success. I can't help it, my bad.

On another note, let's switch to F2 and recognize JMC getting a podium! (two if it weren't for the earlier penalty 😒) inspirational, truly. If ya'll haven't checked out his story yet, please do. He deserves all the attention there is to offer. If you plan on getting interested in motorsport, read about him.

Lastly, I'm so excited for F1 races to be back in actual fighting! Lando and George served us some good fights and I'm excited to when RedBull dominate less, at least to give us a few different candidates for winners. I love them, but, it's like Merc domination, or any in fact, it just gets boring if only one person is fighiting for that top step.

Maybe we should all just switch to watching F2, F3, and F1 Academy, at least they all have the same car and budget (per se).

Ohhh Canadaaaa!

Personally, I love this track. It always gets so messy and I enjoy a good thrilling race. This time, fuck it I was cheering Lando on the whole time. I WANT TO SEE HIM WIN SO BAD! Max did amazing of course and look at George go! Felt bad for Charles, the car was indeed shit. (thanks, Bryan.) but hey, Alex was cooking! I remember last year when he led the DRS train, like, damn girl get that guy a better car right now!

Then I felt like dying when Carlos took him out.

Also no offense guys but why does Daniel still have a seat? People sleep on Yuki so much and think he's way better. I don't blame you if he's one of your faves, but damn he should've never left RB. Comment if you disagree! Or if you just want to say something.

9/10 race guys, loved the drama. Canada always is tricky but majestic at the same time ykwim?

Can't wait for Spain! Who's adopting Oscar, Carlos or Fernando? Tbh I don't think him and Carlos are on familial terms rn.

BROTHER! I fumbled so hard 'cause the Miami GP was during the night where I am, so I missed Lando's FIRST EVER WIN! I've been waiting for this shit for five years! Hopefully, he lets me see him win this time in Imola, but it'll never be enough, you know? I completely missed his first win and I'll never forgive myself for it. Might seem extreme, but ever since the start he's been one of my favs, and I've admired his overall talent and loyalty to McLaren. Amazing, Lando, but you just couldn't want until a GP I could watch????
