Man I love my #airbrush Working on some #northkin for my #trollbloods #hordes army. The air brush is so good at helping to create a light source. Once I get some ghost tints I'm going to attempt to do paint in grey scale and then apply color through glazes but for now I use my base color, in this case green, to trace out my other colors such as the browns. All I have to do is basically paint dark browns over the dark green and the lighten up the browns as I get to the lighter greens/yellows. It makes the whole process super fast.
Its coming! Started working on the #trollbloods Glacier King. Finished up his skin a little after this picture. Now comes the long process of painting up all the ice and snow. Getting some work done on my #trollbloods My 2 year old daughter came up with this great color scheme I really want to try on my bomber, brown skin with purple rocks. Worked on some #terrain today with @msfuffles after being inspired by a couple different YouTube videos. She made up this really cool looking vortex well thingy and I made a spiky platform for the #ironkingdoms adventure we're running next Saturday. Could not get a good picture for the life of me of these #doomreavers I've been working on today. Did the skin with my #airbrush and it came out so good, unfortunately I just can't get the light to bend to my will so I said screw it and put a nice filter on it. These guys are for an #ironkingdoms adventure I'm #GMing next weekend but they also are going to part of my #Khador army that I'm slowly building. I can not say enough about this airbrush! I have so many projects that I've been dreading that I'm just going to blow through. Getting some more #airbrush work done. Started working on my common dire trolls for my #hordes #trollbloods army. This is my #wip on my dire troll mauler Really loving the air brush. Definitely has a learning curve and have stripped a few models but the results are starting to come out great. I've been using it a little differently though, I get my transitions in and then go back and wet blend some areas and the go in and paint all the highlights and shades. Attempted a bit of #OSL #objectsourcelighting with my #airbrush that my lovely wife @msfuffles got me for Christmas. Its not the greatest but it isn't awful. Had to fix up a bit with the brush as I didn't realize until I had already sprayed that my direction was not correct.
