so burnt that there are no remains
“Yes you are, but inside, I know you do not want to.” A hum left from his lips as he slowly tucked his hands away in his pockets. How extravagant this was, to see his former project right before him. Certainly, the Iwamine did not believe in ghosts but maybe just this one time, he could try and or see if this Hospital too. Gave life to the pathetic dove or mourning. “The past, was such a beautiful thing wasn’t it?” He asked, knowing how rhetorical it would have been to the other but for him.
The past could have been better. Brighten up Nageki!
“Don’t cast such a gloom look on it, it would have gotten better soon. Believe me, Doctor knows best.”
Holding out his hand to the other, “Alright. I won’t ask for your trust but just your company. Is that fine?” What was company to the Chukar, he could do all sorts of things until they were alone but alas.. that would all have to wait. His interest too busy being piqued by the former who was suppose to be dead. “After everything I have done, you would deny me this?”
"I'm glad that you are aware."
You could thank the doctors at Civilization 9 for this miracle, doctor.
As unnerving as it was for Nageki to be standing before one of the men who had lead him down a path of false hope... He did not turn away. The dove simply stood as though he was waiting to be dismissed. "Yes. The past was once beautiful... But there's always a taint in one's past, isn't there?" Nageki almost smiled, tilting his head to the side.
"Even hearing such words... I'm sure that my actions before were necessary. I don't regret what I did in my attempts to stop you."
Instinctively, the dove took a step back from the extended hand. Both hands were lifted to his chest and he eyed the other suspiciously before actually putting some thought into this situation. "After everything you've done..." He murmured the words, fiddling with one of his fingers anxiously before peeking back at Shuu.
"Fine.. But in return, I would like to ask you for something." Extending his own hand, fingers barely touching Shuu's palm before he spoke again, Nageki hesitated once more. "Do not try to use the Charon Virus as you please anymore. Whether you act on your own or with others... It wouldn't do you any good. Not here at least."
Or so he hoped.
"Move on."
“Ah yes, what has happened. You use to engage in conversation with me. Don’t let the past get in between us.” A chuckle left from his lips as he watched the other’s facial expression. Surely, Nageki wouldn’t pass up a treat that was being given to him by an old acquaintances.
“I understand I’m not Hitori, but you can trust lil ol’ me.. Hohoho.”
"I'm conversing with you now, am I not?" Ah, of course the past wouldn't get in between them. They were even, weren't they? "The past..." Nageki watched as humans die in front of his very eyes which probably resulted in emotional trauma and scarring but whatever.
He burnt down your lab, good sir.
Wait, that still doesn't seem fair and square... Like. At all.
Nageki had been avoiding other's gaze, glancing back only when the other mentioned Hitori. Why bring him up now? This was just another reason to be wary of the good doctor's words, obviously.
"Hmm... No. I'm not so sure I can trust you."
shutuptohri replied to your post: Come to me, I have jello.
“Don’t be that way, I’m willing to take you out to the cafeteria for jello.”
"Forgive me but... I'm not interested in your company, doctor."
As tempting as a treat might sound... You intimidate the hell out of him, Shuu.
Come to me, I have jello.
Your lies smell like butts.
"No, thank you...?"
Hahaha! I don’t know anything about livers but that must be my son! That means you’re his friend right?
It’s nice to see that kids are so smart nowadays. The cootie shot is important too because cooties are gross and if you have them then you’re a stinky poop.
It would probably be best that you didn't know.
Ah, so Ryouta is your son? It's nice to meet you, sir..
Although, I'm not sure if I am his friend or not but it is a nice thought. I don't think I would mind if he thought of me as a friend.
Sir, I do believe you are speaking nonsense now... But I suppose you might need your cootie shot as well, yes?
Circle, circle, Dot, dot - Now you've got the cootie shot!
birdslippers replied to your post: I love you.
ew COOTIES

i got my cootie shot
I love you.
"Now you're just saying embarrassing things."
I'll never let you go again.
"Enough of this."
I'm so sorry.
"You don't have to apologize."
I'd kill for you
"I wish you wouldn't.."
