*sigh* I had a dream in which I saw a beautiful illustration of a possible Kuras ending.

It was like, a light blue, yellow, and white color pallette with a background of I think? kind of a mix of sand and ocean for the ground with a whispy cloudy sky with these multi eyed soulless that had no mouths or limbs and where also white in color, kind of snivy shaped? But their forms had kind of thick string like gaps (like when fringe is scalloped lace at the bottom of a dress but cloud texture) and weren't super long plus they had fishtails

In the middle of it all is a tall figure of kuras with his body facing out to the ocean but his face looking back towards the viewer. And he has like, a bunch of eyes on his face as well. He has on a, super cunty of course, horizontally strappy white outfit that barely covers anything but manages to make their gender more ambiguous and a much thicker figure which my mind filled in as being because he fused with mc in some way

I can't remember what the title for it was but it was definitely a groupmind ending where kuras decides to do a "return to eden" type thing and seizes? control? of the groupmind I think and then floods the whole world. The only Noah's ark being him personally choosing to shelter/fuse you into his own being.

The alchemist's symbol also looks like the outer dots are eyes with the topmost running down into a star for a tear

Perhaps in addition to being moon phases, the symbolism of obscuring the sun (such as with fogfall) is relevant?

And the whisps around Leander's magic looks like an unsolid version of Vere's collar when he's transformed... plus the top of the alchemist's symbol is a keyhole...

Did perhaps Kuras introduce magic to humans à la prometheus giving humans fire? Did those humans then proceed to find ways to "unlock" the shroud? Or did his intervention create a light & beacon for other monsters to turn their eye on humanity? HMMMMMMMMM

This is a comment I posted in response to someone else but I feel like it should gets its own post so I can put it in my theory tag:

Regarding the Pure of Heart, Dumb of Ass, and Home of Sexual RSS post:

I think its more like this: original phrase = pure of heart, meaning = someone with a good heart, kind & treats people well.

Alteration 1: dumb of ass, meaning = similarly heroic as being pure of heart but they're dumb about it (kuras being a dumb of ass to me relates to the fact that he doesn't treat people well (respecting their autonomy) while still... treating people well (medically)).

Alteration 2: Home of sexual, meaning... heroically homosexual in a silly way. Think of all the gay bitches you know that pine and long and go to the most ridiculous lengths... just to try to ask someone if they're also gay but then chicken out. Basically gay to a heroically dumb degree. If we get a "there's only one bed 🥺" trope from mhin, I won't be surprised. Everyone else is very direct, so they're on the further end away from this, whereas mhin is very circumspect. More likely to avoid you or flirt only when flirtened to. Leander and Vere get second highest for this trait because their flirting, while direct, also exists in that plausible deniability spectrum. Kuras is the most direct, least likely to deny what people's intentions are with flirting and Ais is second most straightforward.

Also I think the "home" part of home of sexual may refer to Mhin's family centeredness (mentioned from their favorite dessert: one usually shared with family). This also makes sense given Leander's emphasis on community. Then we have Vere who likely used to have religious followers. Then Ais who had a gang but they're now mysteriously gone. Versus total Loner Kuras. So it could also refer to how family oriented a character is.

Regardless my conclusion is this: gay gay homosexual gay. *bows and leaves*

I haven't been able to refind the comment but I saw someone say that taking women on hours long dates where you move from location to location is a tactic men talk about using because it gives the illusion of having been on multiple dates in a short amount of time and thus gives the illusion of intimacy while not allowing the woman time alone to think things through about how she feels.
