I’m gonna do my usual thing and go through with comp-het and violence trigger warnings. But I have a double root canal today so I’m just gonna say that PEOPLE SHOULDN’T WATCH THE MISEDUCATION OF CAMERON POST.

It has lots of suicidal triggers, mutilation with lots of blood, gay betrayal, outing, comp-het, parental abandonment, verbal abuse, gender and sexuality oppression, etc.

I could probably think of more, but I really don’t want to remember anything besides the two spirit kid. That was the only thing they did right.

Thelma has crazy amounts of epilepsy/seizure triggers. The movie is about a girl who comes into her power while having seizures. They use footage of the room where they use flashing lights to trigger a seizure. The opening title THELMA is in the same flashing lights. There is also a club scene with the same frequency of strobing lights.

Princess Cyd has some domestic violence and alcohol abuse trigger warnings, but otherwise it’s pretty good.

i was just watching a video about how in into the spider-verse, the camera in the movie moves at 24 frame rates per second and at the beginning when he’s still adjusting and learning to control his powers, miles is animated at 12 fps (the way a lot of classic cartoons are done) so he’s moving at half the rate, but peter parker, who is the older and much more experienced spider-man, is animated at 24 fps, so his movements are a lot more fluid and refined.  

but by the end of the movie, when miles has completely stepped into his role and learned how to master his powers, he’s finally moving at 24 fps, at the same speed and with the camera, and i think that’s so motherfucking breathtaking and intricate and adds a little something to the movie, even if most people wouldn’t notice that specific aspect. 

i’m so in love with small details like that and i don’t think i’ll really ever get over how beautifully made that film is.
