Skyrim snippets: The sneaky Kajiit
(Juuuusst a heads up, i named this one after myself :P) Moyasu peeked around the corner to ensure the nearby patrolling gaurds weren't watching, not that it would've mattered. The kajiit remembered a time when he'd lifted a gaurds weapons and successfully sold it without anyone even knowing who, when, or even where the theft had taken place. Suppressing a chuckle he returned to the task at hand, raiding this shopkeeper and picking up a valuable item stored inside. After a moment he got through the locked door, putting away the picking equipment in a pouch. Silently padding past the threshold, Moyasu closed the door behind him slowly, locking it to prevent unwanted intrusions. He stepped past a low fire keeping soup warm, and turned right, looking through the darkness at the sleeping shop entrance. Over to the right were to doors, the furthest one leading upstairs to the bedroom. The theif pawed over and carefully opend the door, heading up the wooden staircase avoiding any unnecessary noise. As he entered the bedroom he sees the shopkeeper fast asleep on a bed, and directly next to the door was the lockbox containing the stores profits as well as assorted valuables. After unlocking it and quietly emptying the contents into another pouch, the cat closed the box, carefully backed out of the room and headed back downstairs. As he tiptoed out, he snaches a sweet roll and quickly eats it as a treat. Honestly, all these shop keepers make this job too much fun. With a quick slip out the back door, the kajiit disappeared into the night, none the wiser of the recent robbery.
