after waiting 10 years for hrt, the fact that the process took a matter of maybe an hour to get was... jarring, in a way. i literally made an appointment with planned parenthood, got asked to sign a few forms acknowledging i understood what T does and what to expect, got asked a few non-invasive questions by a very friendly doctor, and had a prescription for it. I went from no T to T in a matter of less than a week - that includes waiting for the appointment and waiting for the prescription to be approved.

#txt #to me it really juts kind of amplifies the impact of how evil my parents were for refusing to allow me to get on T #i tried to do it the most gentle softhanded way possible but no. they just couldn't have an ounce of goodness in their bodies.#the fact i waited a decade. a decade. ten years. almost half of my entire life. for it to take such little effort.#it almost makes it painful.
