grace inadvertently pushing the button to bring out the other two beds with his butt, immediately after ripping the catheter out of his rectum

grace pulling the wrong toilet flush and getting his head vacuum-sucked into the centrifugal-oriented one (also thank you phm deleted scenes for the only other angle of the bathroom we will probably ever get <3)

idk if the guys in the spacesuit tutorial video are some of the props crew, but if they are then i'm glad they got to show off their creation and have fun/be silly about it

Really enjoying the idea that Grace's angry outburst in Denmark became a meme. The Angry Scientist. It shows up in discussions of egregiously bad sci-fi movies and arguments with antivaxxers and astrophage deniers, in forms ranging from pristine screencap to super-crunchy jpeg. There's an animated parody in the style of Ace Attorney. His students use it without realizing it's him.

In his first week on the Gansu six different people asked him about it and four asked Stratt why she hired Angry Scientist Meme guy.

Love the idea of aroacespec Grace and too-busy-being-dictator-to-entertain-the-thought Stratt not noticing even a little bit that they act too familiar. The Vatt sees Stratt steering Grace somewhere with a hand on the small of his back and go "👀😏" meanwhile the two of them are just like "ah yes very efficient for navigating crowds quickly :)". Early-apocalyptic qpr of all time

I love how Grace insults the guy by saying he's a "staggering waste of carbon". Not oxygen. Oxygen has been done before, a waste of the air you breathe, oxygen is mean, yes, but carbon. Grace gets right down to what humans are made of when he insults people and I love that tbh

i feel like people aren't getting how dire ai is. we are running out of drinkable water. our brains aren't engaging as much with what we see and hear. people near data centers don't get clean water and experience electricity blackouts. it's being used to make pornography of underaged people and women. it often just lies. it affirms everything. it lies. it has made people kill themselves. it lies for gods sake. and people act as if im dramatic for being staunchly against it. 'now i KNOOW you hate ai and whatever, but look at this cute video' this isn't me being a new age puritan about internet videos, this is about the fucking earth and our future living on this planet. people are suffering now, people will suffer more, and my friends and parents will roll their eyes and think im annoying for despising ai so explicitly. we need to wake up because we cannot live like this
