Modern AU-!

Wanted to make a modern AU for a long time since everyone has their own take on it- really took me a while to finally post it—

I had an idea for a modern world but that still retains a lot of elements from hollow knight- as a modern retake on it. The world still has an architecture similar to the one in the game (that is built by bugs)- like vertical building and tunnels, but has a modern aesthetic to it.

For example the city of tears is your modern capital with giant buildings and the distant village (deepnest) is a country side village, but the city of tears is still built under a lake and with it’s architecture, and the distant village is still filled with webs and influenced by spiders- Each place is build similarly-

So in short. Hollow knight but you have fridges, modern buildings, computers, and still have magic and gods. (Surely mix very well)

After the radiance ordeal these three leave Hallownest and travel to a different kingdom (/state). Since Hallownest is in ruins they have nothing left there, so they find a different place to try and live peaceful lives.

They keep their identities a secret to avoid attention and targeting, while trying to move on from Hallownest, but each of them is still dealing with their own problems and past (angst ensues)
